Holding up well after a year, bottle still liquid for another application.
Bought this a year ago after I noticed a big rust spot on the bottom of one of the tines in the dishwasher. Picked off the loose pieces of coating around it, wiped it off with a paper towel and gave it two coats. Checked on it today and still holding up fine. Had a few tines where there was rust on the end, used the end caps, one of them fell off in the last year but the others are holding up.The bottle is still liquid so touched up some new spots. Giving it 5 stars since it seems to be doing its job well and it's still liquid after a year so I can get another application. Hopefully will be liquid a few years more so I can keep getting more value out of this bottle. Color match of the goop is fine but the color of the tines is noticeably different, don't care - it's a dishwasher and it's getting the work done.

Easy to use
I have a 20-year old Kitchen Aid dishwasher on its last legs. We have well water that has a heavy mineral content. Over the decades, the mineral content has led to calcium deposits on some parts of the dishwasher rack and rust on other parts. There were a couple dishwasher tines that needed the plastic tips installed. I had to use a hack saw to cut one tine so I could put a plastic tip over it. The rack repair liquid was very quick drying and coated the area needing coverage very well. So easy to use my dog could have done the job. Hoping the repair will let me limp along until I replace the dishwasher during summer.

Not a perfect color match, but seemed to do the job
Whirlpool dishwasher rack showing obvious signs of corrosion (after only 1 year), as if they didn't completely coat the steel rack with protective vinyl at the factory. This product seemed to work well for the repair of that damage. USE NOTES: I was pretty diligent about removing heavily corroded prongs with cutting wheel on my grinder before applying this product; also applies more than 1 coat. You may need to trim the caps to appropriate length with a scissors.PROSFunctional fix to annoying corrosion issues.CONSWish it came in better color-match to original vinyl coating, but what the heck, it's inside the dishwasher and nobody is gonna notice anyways.

Does what we needed, so far! Cheap and effective? Well see
Super easy to use and seems to do the trick. The vinyl covered by this product cracked and the metal underneath began to rust, so I’m hopeful this slows the process of degradation and gets buys us some time. The color makes it quite clear we’ve done repairs (no match), but that hardly matters if it buys us some time to replace the racks with stainless counterparts. The silicone pegs fit perfectly and, for the price we paid, these seem to be a great value.I’ll check in in a couple months if they don’t hold up to the dishwashing process itself.

Works great, easy to use
Product worked perfectly, no issues. I clipped off the loose plastic, sanded the rust and put two coats on 3 different spots on my racks. It dries quickly, which is great because your dishwasher isn’t out of commission for days. Keep your thumb over the bottle opening while brushing it on or use nail polish thinner to keep it from getting thick and gloppy. If you let your dishwasher go for two long and have lots of rust, you will need several bottles. These have small amounts for dishwasher maintenance, not major repairs. The color doesn’t match perfectly, but neither did the rust. I would definitely purchase again.

Great product. Simple to use and works!
Do you have a crap low-grade (LG) dishwasher purchased by the previous homeowners with a rack rusting in 20 different places? then this product is for you! This product worked great and came with great instructions warning that the product dries quicky in the bottle if left open. Saved my dishwasher rack. I'm so glad we live in an era where this type of product exists. Saved my family a boatload of money.

Somewhat disappointed
I grabbed this product to try to salvage my rusting racks, which cost a fortune to replace. It works, but I'm still a little disappointed. First of all, the amount is minuscule for the price paid, probably about the same amount that you would find in a small bottle of white out. If you are lucky enough to just have a few damaged prongs, then gluing the caps onto the ends works pretty well. But if you have any further damage to your rack, painting the goop onto the damage will have a limited effect. It doesn't cover the rough rust damage very well, so you'll have to cut the wires entirely to get a clean end to cap. If your rack looks like mine and you do this, you'll have barely any rack left. Was hoping for the goop to be thick and plentiful enough to paint over all the damage, but it looks like I'll only be able to cut and cap a handful of prongs. At least it will probably give me an extra year or two of life on my rack, which I guess is good enough.

dried out and went right in the trash can
its a good product seller may not have been aware this item wasn't sealed, so it was dried out and brush was broken off down in the hardened product. Waste of my money as all I could do was throw it away.
