The best table a little money can buy
Marvelous, spectacular, eye catching, solidly made, sturdy, pool table that is absolutely perfect for small spaces. This is true value for the money! All I had to do was open the box and unfold and lock the legs. I needed the help of another person to flip it upright. It’s a very heavy table. The weight gives it that touch of quality you would expect in a much more expensive table. I do recommend you have a four wheel dolly on hand set the table on as it makes transferring the table to the inside of your home effortless. I live in an apartment building. The delivery people had hand trucks but I let them use my dolly as we went through the underground entrance straight to the elevator. The table had to be stood on end to get it into the elevator. It was easy for two people. I had a rug already in place where I wanted the table. The delivery people positioned the box exactly as I requested on the rug. I have wood floors and the table slides easily but level on the rug without scratching the floor; it glides with enough force, but this table is no pushover! The cue balls are regulation size. I checked the ball return on the rails and I am very very happy with the speed of the ball off the rails. I have shot pool from California to New York, mostly on coin operated small bar tables. The size of this table is that of a small coin operated table you would find in some bars. I didn’t have to level the table. Once we flipped it over, I used a carpenters level to check the rails and then I check the playing surface. THAT AMAZED ME! The table comes with two 48 inch pool sticks. You will need a pool stick tip sharpener or a little sand paper to hone the tip to your liking. Use another stick to break the balls that is sturdier or take it easy when breaking with the supplies pool sticks. This is a common practice among many pool table users. I don’t like to break with my good sticks. There is also chalk, a ball rack, small table brush, and a carrying case large enough to hold the entire table or for storing the table out of the way. Now, I can enjoy shooting pool in the comfort of my home without worrying about germs in a public pool hall or a bar. I just can’t say enough good things about this table. Amazon has outdone itself this time. The table is sold and fulfilled by Amazon. I don’t mean to sound like an advertisement, I used to be an advertising executive. I love Amazon for this one. I feel like a kid on Christmas Day and I’m 61 years old. Lol. Thank you Amazon. Thank you!

Pretty good!
Overall its pretty good. Like most reviews Ill prob say the same stuff... Its my first day having it btw... Likes : looks great, its sturdy, I like the way the top of the rails feel and the size of them, Balls are good, great for my space (live in a 2nd story apartment), and will be nice for this "stay at home" period right now and the future, Arrived early with no damage, pockets are cheap but do the job; no issues there, overall pretty good. Dislikes : cues are crap (no biggie to me, have a few of my own), rails are very stiff when you lag or just hit the rails - no "regular" bounce to them, table is not very level (balls do tend to curve toward pockets) I don't think that's really fixable but its not crazy bad - kinda used to that from bar tables anyways, felt is pretty cheap (first day have marks/dents in felt due to a regular break), also slow felt but I'm used to that fast felt they put on diamond tables or way overused bar tables - that might get better with use. I bought it for practice and just to be able to hit some balls around due to league being cancelled for a while, and could not buy a bigger/more expensive table due to where I live. It will serve that purpose and I'm pretty sure I can sell it for around $200 or so after I'm done with it. That being said def worth the money and time invested to lug upstairs (def should have had another person to help, I got it up, but scraped the side a bit because I had to take it out of the box to slide up metal stairs) oh well that's my fault - still pretty solid on the top and sides of the table itself. The balls bank pretty good (might be due to the uneven table and balls tend to curve into pockets, but that's ok. Pretty decent size as far as able to practice cut shots from decent distance (of coarse still smaller than bar table, but doesn't feel too small as to have a toy/kids table feel). Ive only played 9 ball so far since I think 8 ball might be cramped like previous reviews have said, whatever, I have no intention of buying smaller balls for that reason, the ones that is came with are pretty decent. hope this review helps!

Good for the cost
This was a nice table for the price. It came well packaged. You simply unbox and it was ready. The 6ft version is good for my current space but for someone who plays regularly, you should really opt for a 7 or 8ft. My only concern is that you need two people to move this table. If you try to glide it across the floor, the hook/lever underneath will fold and cause one end to collapse-which happened to me. This is concerning if you have a small child. There should have been locks in place to secure the levers underneath. The pool sticks that it came with are also flimsly and short. Otherwise, the quality appears good and worth the buy.

Awesome little pool table
I bought this table 6 years ago for my townhouse basement. I needed something small enough for the space that I could take out of my apartment when I moved out. Haven't moved out yet but the table is still going strong. Felt is still in great shape, hasn't torn or pulled whatsoever. The pocket nets stretched out over time so the ball stacking issue resolved itself. The adjustable feet eventually popped inside the leg after a few years so we replaced those with new ones easily enough for like $15 or something like that. The sticks are cheap but I had my own. And they're the perfect size and weight for kids to learn how to play. The board was never fully level, balls slope towards the pockets, specifically the side ones. But honestly, I think it just makes the game more fun. This is more like an old pub table instead of a professional pool table so set your bar lower. It is MDF not slate, you get what you buy. For the price I paid, I absolutely love this table. The tables flaws add to it being kind of a chaos game, unpredictable and delightful. Still very happy with this purchase and my basement.

Surprisingly impressed. Great buy
Surprisingly Impressed. For the price, the quality and condition was above expectations. Even though there was obvious damage to the shipping box, the table was in excellent condition. No scratches dents or other flaw that I’ve noticed anyway. It was easy to setup almost too easy. It was heavier than expected but I think it was just awkward with all the packing blocks and styrofoam. Overall simple setup. Folds and unfolds easily. The table was level and no warping. Truly pleased. The only con was the quality of the sticks. One of them was warped which I expected both so it was negligible. Great buy.

Nice Table but received with Damage. Unable to reach Customer Support
Item was delivered in the morning before I went to work and outside packaging had some rips but did not see a significant damage to outside packaging. Did not open package until I came back home from work that evening. Opened packaging carefully and the corners of the table were protected well but the sides were not. There is a surface crack on top of table and a dent on the side. Everything would have been perfect if this damage wasn't present. It fits well in my room and looks very good. Currently trying to receive a replacement from the selling company blue wave and have not heard back. Sent an email, received a CS ticket# but have not heard back. Called their Customer service # and it rings for a while then hangs up. Will be very dissappointed if the damaged product that I received is not replaced. Buyer beware if your product is received damaged.

Great pool table; lots of fun...
A few factors will come into play when deciding if to get a pool table and what kind to get. If you are considering this one it is likely because of size. We could fit a regulation size pool table in our basement, but then we lose the ability to do other things and this table is a great compromise. This pool table is larger than the really small (lesser quality) portable ones, but smaller than regulation size, yet still gives a fun pool experience. The quality is very good for what you are paying. The cushions may not be as true as a regulation table, but it good enough for us. The pool cues are good for the kids, but if adults are playing I suggest getting larger ones. As for the balls, we opted to buy a smaller size set (1-7/8") for use on this board. As others have mentioned, the full size balls that come with it create more congestion on the smaller table. Proportionally to the table, I don't even notice they are not regulation size and enjoy the smaller ones more. While the table is portable and not too heavy, it is not light enough for one person to move. You do need two people. Delivery was right on time and no issues with the delivery company, though I know this can vary. If you are looking for a smaller, somewhat portable pool table, this is a great buy. Not too expensive, and very good quality.

Pretty, sturdy, playable table plagued by surface warping issues
I purchased this table for use in our newly remodeled basement that serves as a studio/jamming space, a home gym space, and a lounge space, in an open 700 square foot area with 9 ft ceilings. In the studio space, there's room for a table measuring up to 78" long and 45" wide, leaving reasonable room around it to both shoot and access all of the instruments and amps. Conditions of my wife's (which I happily accepted) were that the table be blue and not be ugly. We also needed it to fold up, should space be needed to host other musicians or be moveable when hosting other musicians. The Hathaway Fairmont table fit the bill on all fronts. At 76" by 43.25", it's the right size. The blue felt color is beautiful and plays well. The folded profile is slim (like 3.5" slim), it's easy to fold up, and it comes with a padded-ish nylon case. I can fold up and put away this table by myself. It's easier with two people, but possible with one, as it weighs about 120lbs. Playing on the table has the potential to be a very nice experience. The felt plays a bit slow at first, but does speed up a good bit. I similarly found the bumpers a little dead at first, but they seemed to loosen up over time to the point where triple-bank shots are reliably possible. The wide 5" rails/felt/bumper combo really make this feel like you're playing on a normal bar table rather than a compact fold-up model. It'd be a truly enjoyable playing experience...if only the they could make a level playing surface. That's where this 5-star review sheds 4 of those stars. Job #1A for a pool table is for the surface to be level. It's the one deal breaker that can kill an experience. In my case with the Fairmont table, the first one I received from Amazon has a slope towards the one rail (the left rail in my setup). At first I thought it just needed to be leveled, but when performing rolling ball tests and using a bubble surface level, it became clear that the table was leveled properly, but that the one side just took a dive into the bumpers. I filed a warranty claim with the company who quickly sent another table to me (Blue Wave Products is the parent of Hathaway and handles service issues. They are responsive via email and phone and are US-based.) The second table was missing one of the leveling feet pieces and the surface of that table was crowned (high in the middle then sloping off towards all directions) so badly that it wasn't playable even if it had come with all 4 feet. The company then offered to send a third table and pick up the crowned table, which became a running joke as their shipping company kept missing pickup dates and it sat on my front porch for almost 3 weeks. I cancelled the third table, having no confidence that it's surface would be level. They told me to keep the original table (the original box was wrecked in transit, which was likely a factor there). I'm going to give it to someone with kids who won't mind the warped side and order another brand, likely the GoSports blue felt 6ft model. TL:DR Version: This is potentially a 5-star product whose value is destroyed by the fatal flaw of not having a level playing surface. The manufacturer stands by their products and is responsive to handling problems, but they appear to have a manufacturing issue with this product as this warped-surface-complaint is frequent in reviews. For that reason, I give this a 1-star rating and advise potential customers to proceed with caution if you prioritize a level playing surface.
