Review: My 6yo loves it! - Book Review: What If Everybody Did That? 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This book quickly became a favorite in our home! What If Everybody Did That? is a simple yet powerful story that helps young readers understand how small actions can add up and why thinking of others matters. 📚 What it’s about: The story follows a child who makes little decisions like littering or talking in the library and gets reminded with the question: “What if everybody did that?” Each scene shows what would happen if everyone ignored the rules, painting a funny but meaningful picture of chaos. 👍 Why we loved it: • Relatable behavior: My 6-year-old saw a bit of himself in the character, which opened up great conversations. • Funny but clear lessons: The exaggerations made my child laugh, but they also made the message stick. • Great illustrations: Bright, expressive artwork that keeps kids engaged from page to page. • Built-in values: Respect, responsibility, and empathy all come through without sounding preachy. This book is great for sparking discussions and it’s fun enough to be read over and over. It turns everyday behavior into big-picture thinking in the best way. Review: A Thoughtful Teaching Gem: "What If Everybody Did That?" Children's Book - "What If Everybody Did That?" by Ellen Javernick and illustrated by Colleen Madden is a fabulous book and an essential teaching tool for any parent or educator. This delightful book not only captivates young readers with its silliness and good humor but also serves as a conscientious guide, highlighting the importance of considerate and decent behavior. The lessons in this book are ingeniously presented, showcasing the consequences of thoughtless actions in a child-friendly way. It encourages children to think about others and consider scenarios they might not otherwise ponder. What makes this book particularly effective is the focus on individual accountability, emphasizing that personal actions matter, regardless of what everyone else is doing. It addresses manners, environmental consciousness, recycling, respect for rules and laws, and the understanding that our actions have consequences. The book cleverly illustrates that if everyone were to engage in thoughtless behavior like littering, the consequences would be undesirable for all. The overall message of the book is not only wonderful but also timely. It is a must-read for pre-K through school-aged children, instilling important values in a way that is engaging and memorable. "What If Everybody Did That?" is a standout contribution to children's literature, promoting thoughtful consideration and positive behavior. Highly recommended for its educational value and entertaining approach to important life lessons.

Nice book about the importance of manners
Lovely children’s book that teachers kids about manners and not littering, being overly disruptive, generally just having wonderful manners. My child likes the book and I like that he’s learning while being entertained. Nice book!

Cute book, solid lesson for kiddos
This is a super cute book and the lesson is worthwhile, especially for kids. The only reason I gave 4 stars is bc the adults look so angry in each scenario and then the ending is so abrupt! It’s great and perfect for kids, but also just ends with the final “what if everybody did that” message and then that’s it and it wasn’t as smooth as it could have been. But, great way to teach kids about actions and consequences (on both sides!).

Loved it
Such a great book. My little is always extremely engaged. There’s a lot of naughty choices being made so I think he can relate. Then suddenly he has a light bulb moments that if everyone did that things would not be great. The ending does it for me because even know it’s one act of kindness after so many bad one the message come across stronger. One kind moment done by many can make a difference

A Lovely little book about manners. I love the illustrations, very concise. It’s not easy to hundred percent good, but we should remind ourselves always what if the entire world was GOOD?

Both my kids have read this over and over. The both enjoyed it and we often use it as a reference in real life when they are doing some thing they shouldn't be doing we say to them 'what if everybody did that'. It has made them think.
