Certified review junkie. I rely on them to make informed purchases, and I expect products to live up to their promises. After a year of searching for the perfect outdoor leaf vacuum, I finally found this one. And let me tell you, it's a breath of fresh air in a world of fake or exaggerated reviews.I didn't have unrealistic expectations—just a simple request: great suction, a vacuum that could handle pebbles, stones, and previously laid mulch without undoing all my hard yard work without a sweat. And guess what? This one fit the bill! The power and suction quality are top-notch, and the value is unbeatable.Just a heads-up: I found the cord to be short, so if you have a larger property, you'll need an extension cord to keep the suction party going. The design...meh. But that's a small price to pay for a product that actually does what it says it will.In short, this leaf vacuum is a winner. It's reliable, effective, and won't leave you feeling raked over the proverbial pebbles.

Update: I used the blower. It is massively way more effective than my Worx battery blower. I don't like dragging the extension cord around, but piling all the leaves and the sucking them up is a much faster job. I realize now that my other blower is more of a gentle sweeper than a powerful machine that clear my gutters, grass and yard with one fell swoop...okay, an exaggeration, but it is effective. Upping the rating from 3 to 4 stars. Better blower than mulcher. Plus, without the bag, way less awkward.Overall it gets the job done. Leaves are sucked in. Small sticks have a satisfying crunch as they pass through the grinder. I have a lightweight blower so have not tried that function. My biggest issue is the catch. The bag is nice, but it seems to be made out of some material which allows fine dust to come through it so when sucking in leaves and in my case London Plane seed balls, I feel surrounded by a small cloud and finish covered in a fine layer of dust.The other issue I have, also with the catch, is with the strap on the bag, but I have not figured out a classy way to wear it where between that and managing the cord, it is comfortable and I'm not constantly adjusting things. I'm short so that may have something to do with it. I feel like it might have been better for me as a backpack or maybe I need to make my own bag or shorten the straps.The bag itself is a little hard to empty. The zipper is not smooth and has a curve to allow for a bigger opening which is nice, but I find I have to balance the bag on the side of my green waste bin to get the zipper open. I think if the bag were more cone shaped, made of a more slippery nylon, had a better zipper that ran smooth and didn't have to pull around a corner when full, things would work out better for us all. And again, when I'm emptying, the pollen cloud puffs around me.I will use it again, the London Plane tree is huge and always dropping leaves. It was just so awkward to use that I've not tried again. I probably also need ear protection, a facemask and goggles -- or in all honesty, a gardener.

Works great. Got sick and tired of the rake. I did read other reviews about being careful you don't let the bag get too full. Good advice.

I just purchased this blower/vac because my trees have been dumping leaves into my ivy and other plants, as well as my lawn all fall. Now that it is winter I want to clean the place to make room for new growth. It arrived and I immediately put it to work...for an hour of vacuuming leaves, twigs and spike balls. It was powerful and effective. I quickly filled the bag, emptied the bag, filled the bag, emptied the bag, etc. until my city trash container was full. Each time I emptied the bag it was easy to push the button that disconnected the bag from the tool, unzip the end, and dump the leaves. Sooo easy!As I was nearing the end of the job, the vac just stopped! Nothing I did would get it going again, even checking all connections. I was sooooo disappointed that this amazing tool died. I read the manual that was tucked inside the box and a remedy listed was to wait 15 minutes....What a smart tool! Sure enough, it started right up after I waited the suggested amount of time! Smart that it has a built in shut-off so it doesn't get overheated and really die! I love this tool!
