Since I've seen a lot of people expressing confusion about how to answer the security question used to authenticate your purchase of the book, I figured I'd explain how to do it.Step 1.Go to the adobepress website as instructed by your book.Step 2.Enter the ISBN of the book.Step 3.The website will prompt you to find and submit a random word from one of the steps in the book. Ignore the regular black text. What you're looking for is the text in red in the lesson. This is the 'Step' text where you can find the answer. Each new paragraph is a new 'Step'. Find the word you're supposed to use, and type it in the dialogue box. Hit submit.Step 4.There is no Step 4, you're done!

I really like a reference book compared to a lesson-by-lesson book. But the book has good information and I am actually learning things I didn't know even though I have been a Photoshop user for many, many years. I had fallen behind on Photoshop software updates and went from Photoshop 6 to Photoshop 2020 so I missed a lot of the new things that were introduced and changes that were made to Photoshop. This book is helping. I only gave it 4 stars because I personally prefer a reference book, however, that my not be fair as the book itself is good.

The negative reviews are extremely unfair. The 2020 book is almost identical to the 2019 because photoshop 2020 is almost identical to 2019. I learned photoshop the hard way in 2013 with complicated books that makes you want to pull your eyes out. I decided to check this one out and I like it. This book is not like them. It is easy to follow and apply. I learned more in 2 days than I did back in all of 2013. The price is a little high, but it's worth every cent.

Cheaper than renting it from the school bookstore... I got the digital copy. I guess it will be nice to have access to the book after the semester since I'll continue using the program.

So glad I purchased this book. I've been teaching myself photoshop and this book is teaching me so many new and different techniques that are making my work so much more fun

This tutorial book is a true training program especially if you download the exercise files from Adobe and work along with the book. Directions are clearly stated and most steps also have a photograph of the desk time area being worked. I highly recommend this book.

Recently, I took an online college-level course to learn Photoshop. It was nothing in comparison to what this book offers. "Classroom in a Book" is outstanding. It is easy to follow. As I complete each section, I see myself getting closer to my goal of producing clever editorial cartoons. I have also purchased the same Classroom in a Book for Illustrator. It too is outstanding.

I have spent money on other Photoshop books before I bought this particular book. The other books were just ok but they really didn't go deep enough for me, and I'm just a 'home user'. 'Adobe Photoshop Classroom in a Book' was outstanding, it is laid out in a logical flow, it answers my questions, it is easy to understand and includes practical examples of different functions. Don't waste your money with other Photoshop books, this is the one book you need!

The step-by-step training in the book is well written. The practical example help me to understand better.
