Nars 0.12Oz Manhunt Sheer Lipstick

The color Manhunt may look a deep red color in the tube, but applys as a bright, natural looking poppy color (at least on my fair skin--I know this color can vary depending on the skin tone). This is one of my go-to colors for work, as the sheerness doesn't make me feel too made up. The color is medium lasting, but because of the sheer nature it does need to be reapplied more than a matte finish lipstick. Not too drying and has a subtle shine.

I was looking for a sheer red lipstick and found this one. It's not super sheer, but it's more subtle than some other red lipsticks I've worn. Goes on smoothly and lasts pretty long, too. The only negative is it's more money than I normally like to spend on lipstick.

This is a very pretty pinkish mostly red color and I imagine will be flattering on many skin colors. I am pale with yellow undertones and I feel this color brightens up my face. I usually like to wear lip glosses, because it feels more hydrating, but I took a chance on this lipstick and wasn't disappointed. It's not drying at all like I think most lipsticks feel. Nars color in Manhunt has a description of being sheer, but I think it's too pigmented to be called sheer. I don't mind at all that it's pretty pigmented. It's just that I was pleasantly surprised because it was not expected. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.
