Quit working on third cassette. Would still play but would not convert to Mp3.
Actually it worked fine for a cheapie product. Did just what it was supposed to do..convert cassette tapes to Mp3. Fairly decent quality and fairly decent player for the money. On the third tape it just quit converting. I noticed that when i inserted the flash drive on that third cassette, the volume cut in half. When I took the flash back out, the volume resumed to hearable level. The record button still pushed in and all, but it would no longer record/convert. I was happy until then!New review #4! Ok, I screwed up, sorta. It's now working perfectly again. I think what happened is that my batteries got low and it still had enough power to run and play the tape but not enough for the flash drive. I was only using two AA batteries. A couple of days after reviewing I tried again and this time I plugged the (supplied) USB cord into my computer and all worked perfectly again. No battery warning light, so only a #4. Converted 6 cassettes so far, all good.

Not like the old easy cassette players.
I wanted to convert old cassettes, very awkward to use. I returned this. Instead I hooked up my original cassette deck with RCA inter phase, using Sound Studio software, such a pleasure, converted a hundred or more cassettes already!
