You may want to look at the description for this cause it does say that it Includes: 2x 500ml Dosing bottles 1lb KNO3, 1/2lb KH2PO4, 1lb K2SO4, 1lb MgSo4 and 1/2lb CSM+B. If wrong please correct this thanks.

Q: Can I put the dry salts in an auto feeder with a small dispensing hole and automate my dosing?

You could but I wouldn't recommend it. You could use an auto doser for a reef tank and dilute it water and specifically specify how many ml you want dump a day to get a more accurate dose with out the fear of over dosing.

Q: What option is better for a 400 gallons tank with low tech rooting plants like amazon swords, cryptos and vallisneria?? i already use root tabs...

I think using both would probably be the best of both options. With lower tech plants you wouldnt need to dose much dry fertilizer, maybe a full dose once a week. Thanks Colin
