Your Battles Belong to the Lord: Know Your Enemy and Be More Than a Conqueror

The picture for this book seems to be showing the Study Guide but when you open it to preview, it appears to be the actual book. That is what I wanted so I took a chance and ordered it. It truly is the actual book and not the Study Guide. So I got what I wanted (Kindle version) but the picture is misleading and should be corrected. Thank you.

A little disappointed that when you select the paperback option that it is the study guide and not a paperback version of the book. Thought I was buying the book. The book and the work book should be 2 separate listings to avoid confusion 🤷‍♀️

We are going to have battles but Meyer assures us we are in a place where we have victory in Christ. “When we let God fight our battles, we always win...” (Loc 73/3383) God will fight our battles for us, Meyer says, but we must do our part. She has written this book to help us know our enemy, his nature, his tactics, how to recognize and defeat him and to know our responsibilities in assuring the victory.What I like most about Meyer is that she is so practical. She wants us to be educated and equipped. It is no surprise that she writes about the importance of our thoughts, keeping them in line with what God says is true of us. We are to take our thoughts captive and I like that she is realistic in saying this takes time and effort. She reminds us of the spiritual battles before us and helps us understand how to use our spiritual weapons, such as the armor of God.Meyer is so encouraging and so positive. Reading this book, even though it is on the battles we face, is really faith building. Her stories are encouraging and her exploration of Scripture is accurate. I like that she relies so much on the truth of God's Word.I recommend this book to Christians who want to understand more about the battles we face and how to put ourselves in a place of victory. Meyer gives us the tools we need to use to see victory. “No matter how difficult our challenges are,” she writes, “if God is with us, we have all we need to win every battle.” (Loc 64/3383)I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. As always I love Joyce Meyer’s writing! She has such an awesome, anointed way of speaking and writing. In Your Battles Belong to the Lord, Joyce writes about how Satan will manipulate you and your thinking. Spiritual warfare isn’t her usual topic, but she explains it in a way that people who might be weary or scared of the topic will understand it. Highly recommend this book!

Joyce Meyer shows us that the battles we face in our lives truly belong to the Lord. When we do our part and let God do His part, our battles can be won by Jesus Christ. We have to learn how to resist Satan using God's Word. We have to have the necessary tools to do spiritual warfare against God's enemy. This book shows us that the Lord fights our battles as we do our part in spiritual warfare against God's enemy.

The book is very helpful. Joyce Meyer is an excellent author of Christian Books!!

My husband enjoyed the book

Joyce Meyer never disappoints and this book is no different. Those of you who follow her know exactly what I mean. She is down to earth, meat and potatoes and extremely honest about herself. This sets her apart from many. She has helped me through the years tremendously and I highly recommend her books and recordings.

Love Joyce Meyer and her books which explain Christianity in a way that you can understand and apply to your daily life.This is an exceptional book in how to deal with our emotions and hand them over to the Lord.

This book has been a great eye openers to me. I would like to thank God for His servant and daughter for helping us recognise the threat of the enemy. Like the fact that the book is very understandable. I have recommended this book to my best friend and many other of your books. Your books have been a great inspiration. This is a life changing fantastic book by a truly great author. I can't recommend it enough especially in these strange times. Buy it!

This book has been so helpful, pointing out so many ways in which the devil cunningly attempts to assault us and spoil our relationship with God, but giving so much encouragement to fight back with so many verses from the Bible to use against Satan.Truly inspirational and practical at the same time.
