6 years ago my veterinarian recommended Puppy Purina pro plan chicken and rice shredded blend small bread for my 2 chihuahuas puppies As my dogs got older, I switched to adult kind. This is an excellent dog food that includes probiotics I use the shredded pieces that are soft and chewy as treats for my dogs and then the rest of the food as their meal. My dog's become excited to have the shredded pieces as treats/rewards instead of giving them unhealthy dog treats . My chihuahuas are really healthy and this is the only food they eat. I highly recommend Purina pro plan chicken and rice shredded blend, The shredded blend is what makes it so special and the fact that this pet food is so healthy and recommended by veterinarians. I highly recommend this food for your dog.

Great product and price arrived on time

I have been using Purina Pro Plan for 34 years. A stray Chow came to our home. His fur was matted and he was so skinny. We took him to the Veterinarian and he told us he had heart worms, dehydrated. He said if we took care of half the cost of treatment that he would do the other half, and needed to start treatment right away if he would have a chance. So we did. We were told not to feed him anything but dry Purina Pro Plan. With treatment, Purina, lots of love, and prayers he recovered completely. He was a beautiful dog. We have always had dogs and Purina Pro Plan for all of them.

We are through a transition with success. Our dogs are eating a blend of this and their old food Royal Canin breed specific which got stupid expensive through COViD.I started a transition to this food blended with the old. And the pups had a few loose stools as the got used to it. A few weeks in thiis stopped. They like the blend (I bought a bunch of the Canin during a brief sale).Overall I’m pleased with the Purina specialty brand. Kibble size, nuggets and price. My dogs are susceptible to gastric issues on food changes and as mentioned they were all manageable and now over.If needed I’ll stop blending and go full Purina.

We have been feeding our dogs this for for a couple of years now and they still enjoy eating it. Plus we have never had issues with shipping, it always shows up when they say it will. Will continue to order.

I have 5 Boston Terriers and one is BY FAR the pickiest dog I have EVER had. He has always been underweight because he just didn't like any dog food...and I tried SO MANY canned and dry...highest quality...expensive...and THIS is the ONLY one he will eat...he still doesn't eat a lot but at least I'm not worried he's malnourished anymore! If you have a very picky dog maybe buy they smallest bag and try it...I cannot imagine a more picky dog than my little buddy!
