ESEE-6 1095 Carbon Steel, Black Sheath (Dark Earth Blade, Black G10 3D Handle)

Great knife. Feels solid and is quite sharp out the box. Love the quality as is expected of ESEE. Great sized fixed blade. Good sheath as well. No complaints. 👍

I have been looking at a new and decent SHTF knife. I wanted a grown up knife (no offense Gerber, still love you) and wanted to keep it under 300. Landing on ESEE's stuff after so many reviews and I ordered this knife BUT... as I waited for it to arrive I started shopping around, deciding that this might be a bit big and maybe I'd go custom but then it arrived and I love it. Razor sharp out of the box, and the feel and the look and the weight and the build, all perfect. I did read a review slamming the scales but I see no issue. However... this sheath is not great. Maybe it will grow on me but it feels like cheap plastic and a bit unwieldy. But this is a review for the blade and not the bag so, amazing piece. Bring on the apocalypse. (just kidding... no apocalypses please). oh, ps- I am not a big guy, hence the hesitation. 5'6", small hands but still comfortable AF.

This is a fantastic knife! Extremely well made and maintains an edge very very well. This is the perfect size for a camping/survival knife. The sheath is also high quality and securely holds the knife with no rattling. Highly recommended!!

This is one solid piece that steel. Easily takes an edge. Superb hand feel and ergonomics. And it looks great, too. Supplied Kydex sheath is ok with decent retention. I'll replace it with a leather one at some point. Highly recommended.

Heavy/substantial feel yet swift and able to double as a camp chef's knife if need be. Quite sharp right out of the box. 👌

The edge out of the box is sharp enough to shave hair off of your arm! The blade length is great as an all purpose knife. The plastic sheath is pretty good at holding the knife in place. I have no rattling at all. With a lifetime warranty, this knife is very nice at this price point. I would recommend this to friends.

fit und finish ist makellos, amazon hat da wiedermal ein traumhaftes werkzeug zur verfügung gestellt. bei vielen retailern erhält man retourware zum vollen preis, hier erhielt ich ein fabrikneues stück welches ich und niemand sonst als erstes für die arbeit verwenden durfte. die griffschalen sind wie sie im bilderbuch stehen und die hülle sitzt einfach herrlich. vor dem kauf war ich sehr skeptisch wegen dem gürtelclip aber bei benutzung gefiel mir das tragesystem sogar besser als dangler was meine bevorzugte tragweise ist. wer das geld nicht dafür hat oder zögert zu investieren sollte sparen und sich selbst überzeugen - klare kaufempfehlung.

This is my first ESSE knife, but won't be my last. Feels great, looks great and it's bigger and heavier than I expected. The sheath is decent, but I'd likely upgrade to Kydex if I was using this outdoors often or if I was going to 'The Sandbox.' It's shaving sharp right out of the box and seems very capable of taking (and dishing-out) a lot of abuse. I'm very pleased with this knife and I haven't even cut anything with it. Lifetime warranty, too. Buy one.
