Great taste and great value for money but the flavour is very rich and struggled to eat more than one or two at a time

This is a good Droewors. It has the flavour of a traditonal 'plaaswors', a good blend of the spices and more importantly, a good meat to fat ratio. The taste is great, really rich and deep flavours which are so often lacking in UK Droewors. My only minor complaint would be that for me, it could be a little drier and a bit thicker but thats nit-picking really and more personal preference. Overall a delicious and good quality UK Droewors. Highly recommended.

A bit wet and lacking in flavour for me. I like drier, snappier and with more clove / spice flavours. Prefer their biltong, although even that isn't a full 5 stars. Droe wors I'll get elsewhere.

Bought 2 x Smallys biltong chilli chutney and garlic and the Droewors in chilli and garlic for the SA rugby match last weekend. Had the chilli chutney biltong first, taste was okay but was on the verge of dry. My South African partner didn't like them. However I proceeded to try the Droewors today. Big mistake. Only a couple of bites into my first one, and it didn't taste right or of much. It left a lot of fatty residue and a really awful texture in my mouth. The only way to describe it was like that metallic feel/taste of you bit into foil. For some reason, I thought I'd give the pack benefit of the doubt, and tried a different piece, then another, only a small bite. Same disgusting texture. Overall had like what, 5 bites in total. Fast forward a couple of hours later, I'm vomiting, tummy is in excruciating pain whilst Im having fun on the toilet; all at the same time. I'd avoid at all costs unless you're looking to show your toilet a good loving. Let's hope I'm not even more stupid to open the last packet of biltong.

Overall product is ok. Mediocre. I almost broke a tooth 2 or 3 times on bits of bone tho so i wouldnt buy it again.

Can’t wait to get stuck in good product and for a caney price and then there’s the choice of flavours olso the delivery is super fast will get again

I've been a lover of biltong since I lived in South Africa in the early 1980's, but I hadn't had this before. I absolutely love it. Quality meat with no unchewable fat. I now buy it in preference to normal biltong.

These seem to have really changed, no jalepeno jaste or spice anymore, just taste bland and really fatty texture. Shame as I loved this one and the peri peri, bit gutted about it.
