and the product turned out to be far superior than what I had expected
I received my order in a timely manner, and the product turned out to be far superior than what I had expected. It was a great experience, and I would definitely purchase Judith Leiber products in the future!

Good Grief....what was that smell????
The ORIGINAL scent named "Topaz" was marketed years ago by Avon for perfume, cologne, and body powders. The trademark golden Topaz color was featured throughout. The perfume had a rich golden color and the scent was intense, compelling, and lush. Wonderful!!!My description of this classic vintage scent is not exaggerated. Avon's Topaz was heady and truly intoxicating. Many in that day considered it to be a wasteful luxury due to its price when you could buy a bag a groceries for what Topaz cost.Go Avon! Wish you still offered it. A pox on you for discontinuing it...probably for all the wrong reasons. This scent? Sorry, but Judith Leiber's perfume named "Topaz" is a total strike out. It has a very complex scent, but it is also truly nasty. It assaults the nose and offends the senses. As a card carrying heterosexual male, I would absolutely and categorically refuse to date anyone who wore this scent - PERIOD.And if my Mom (God rest her soul) had ever worn such a scent, I would probably have disowned her.The Bottom Line:I work with scents extensively and my nose is in great working condition. I don't have a cold or seasonal allergies or a deviated septum.A word to the wise: This scent is NOT a good one for a true lady. Do NOT spend your hard earned cash on this "perfume" line.Want to purchase a scent which is really, really so much better? Remember that women are very scent oriented - maybe a survival strength and they do love perfume. So, my recommendation is that you do a noble, a kind, a sweet thing for the lady(s) in your life:Go with the classics - scents which have withstood the test of time...like Chanel No. 5 and the like.Judith Leiber? I would suggest that you surrender the name rights of this scent line back to Avon. They did such a much better job than you.Final score: Avon 1, Judith Leiber, 0.Review ends.

A blind buy gone very wrong
I bought Judith Leiber's Night as a blind buy and was delighted. It is similar to a perfume scent I smelled on someone and I have always wanted to find. It made me think Topaz would be failsafe, but no. I believe the top note for Topaz is something like grandma's medicine cabinet with a middle note of Aspercreme maybe. It's truly offensive.
