I am very impressed with the quality of these, and most importantly, so is my picky cat! There is a product she likes better, and that is the loose, spotted feathers that I bought from Cocoboo. I have tried for months to review those and it wouldn't post- thought that was a programming error but upon complaint the review appeared, then disappeared. Some funny business going on, there. The loose, spotted feathers can be used to replenish wands with the most basic of skills to glue or bind them. For uncontrollable joy, that's what my cat wants. These deluxe feathers are ready to use, and have the small bell attached, and are her 2nd favorite.Pros:- They arrived packaged in a cardboard tube, which kept the feathers well-protected in transit and makes them easy to store.- The metal clips on the tops of these mean that they attach to the wand without having to hunt down some means of attachment, knotting, etc. The clips are stiff, though, and I have no worries that they will come undone.- All 5 are high quality, with generous allotments of attractive feathers, there is not a single bum one in the boxCon:- Like all wands with metal parts of any kind, DO be very careful while it is in your cat's mouth. Gentle, persistent tugging will eventually end that tug-of-war without the risk of snagging a tooth. All toys have a 'right way' to use them.My cat is rather unimpressed with most toys- she loves these! There IS a tug-of-war for these feathers, and she does plenty of aerial gymnastics to go after them. These keep her well-exercised. She'll keep going until she just can't, anymore. I have cat toy handles and these have a hook, a little bit hard to use, but it hooks on my handles very well. I have not let my Bengals TEAR them up yet. I actually am going to give the first set away. I liked them so much that I ordered anther set for my cats. Can't wait to hook them to a long wire holder and just let them go crazy. They are great quality but my Bengals WILL tear them up . They are real feathers so what would you expect!!! There are two of each style so really a good buy!!

If you love your fur baby, you'll use all natural feathers! If you're like me, I do not like the idea of my cat being exposed to chemicals or dyes commonly found in mass produced toys. While in- play cats tend to hold these feathers in their mouth once they "catch" their "prey" and you definitely do not want a bunch of chemicals going into kitty's mouth. Try these instead, your cat will thank you! Well made and they come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Good value!

I bought some of these as gifts- those cat like them. My cat- naaaaaaa they are too big for my cat. My cat prefers the tiny little “flys”

Let me start by saying that I appreciate that these are natural.I find them to be relatively sturdy. They do "shed", some more than others, so be mindful that you may need to vacuum after use with those (typically the "tail" style) attachments.My kitty loves them. She likes to play rough. So she gives them a beating but they have lasted fairly well. Do be mindful, however, that play should be monitored , especially with feathers. To ensure that pets do not choke on feathers.Another potential hazard with unsupervised play, is the safety pin style clasp that attaches the toy to a pole string. It can be opened by the cat with intense play and could potentially jab them, as it's a bit sharp.My kitty has only opened one on a single occasion and I noticed and closed it with no damage to kitty.The price can't be beat. And, in my experience, they last a good while.

Of course you have to also get the wand and that probably is more important to make sureties a telescoping type that stays extended. I have a couple and one does not, which ruins playtime, so I only use the one that stays extended during play. These refills are wonderful for playtime but they are for playing with your cat and they will eventually become chewed up and torn apart - that's the nature of play with kitties. They are great for the Hunt, Catch, Kill part of kitties' play and sets up for a healthy cycle. I play with the kitties while my husband prepares dinner to finish the cycle of Eat, Groom, Sleep. My kitties are so well behaved as a result!

Like the variety and our cats love them, but the boa-style feathers weren’t very durable. One of my cats got hold of it on the first night and destroyed it. Feathers everywhere, and I was afraid he might choke on them. Be careful with that one.
