Just slide to top cover back, and forward, and it cycles to the next bit in the cartridge. You can also pop the top and manually rotate the cartridge to your preferred bit.

It comes preloaded with 6 of the most common 1” long ¼” hex bits. You can buy replacements at any hardware or home improvement store.
