Caffeine and D-Ribose Energy Mints - 100mg Caffeine per Mint - 72 Pouches - Fresh Mint Flavor

I'm a caffeine freak. I really am. I try everything. I really enjoy having a variety of caffeine products to ingest. That said, I consider myself an expert. So here's my experience with these.Pros:-If I want caffeine, but I'm at work walking around, these fit in my pocket very well and I can have a boost whenever I want without carrying a cup or can or etc...-Pills are often looked at with suspicion in my line of work, so having a clearly labeled product I can just pop in my mouth whenever without looking like Dr. House is a plus.Cons:-I can get the same boost or more with an energy shot which is also clearly labeled and recognizable.-These taste minty and refreshing at first, and then turn to that bitter medicine taste I've come to know as the taste of straight caffeine, meaning I'm going to want to drink something afterward, regardless of the fact that I don't NEED to.To be fair, there's some weird chemical in here that they are real proud of that supposedly makes your caffeine experience "better." Personally, I don't value that. I'm cruising for a caffeine buzz and your Ribose-or-whatever is just extraneous to my needs.So try them for yourself, you might find them more potent than I did with my extreme tolerance, and maybe that fancy chemical does something. As for me, I'm glad I tried it, but I'm not really going to be stocking up on them, either.

These are fairly effective caffeine mints. There is a slight bitter aftertaste, but I believe that is the taste of the caffeine. The mint flavor masks the the bitterness somewhat well. I would have preferred the mint flavor to be even stronger, but its still ok. The orange flavour version does not mask the bitterness of the caffeine well at all. Stick with the mint flavor.

I like this because I can cut it in half, giving me 50mg of caffeine at a time along with D-Ribose. I have to watch how much caffeine I use, so this is perfect. They dissolve instantly = so no waiting. It did take me a while to find a pill cutter that would accommodate the large round shape of the pill!

These are great, but I bought them for my trainer. He said " forget the coffee " . I was given one an they work, although the coating on top takes a while to remove. Once you get the top coating removed it's straight caffeine now! Here's a tip: place the mint under your tongue & the caffeine will hit your blood stream faster.

I am a late nighter, therefore driving home from work gets weary....I searched for a mint that would be healthy enough, give energy and also no after crash.And I must say that the D-RIBOSE in PEAK ENERGY definitely has a kick and there is no down side. They sent an additional flavor. Money well spent

Great customer service, they sent me a personal note and the orange/citrus flavor to try however....these just aren't what I was looking for. These give me energy for sure but they also give me a headache. The consistency is very chalky and they break apart rapidly in my mouth. Maybe that is what you are looking for but I was really looking for a mint that stayed cohesive longer and gave me longer minty flavor.

I was at a trade show in Las Vegas when I was given a sample from a promotion team. I usually take energy drinks, but I was really amazed at how powerful (and good tasting) these mints were. I played Black Jack until 2:00am - and I felt GREAT. I was very pleasantly surprised and now I'm on board with these guys.

Excellent product. Allows me to be calm, focused, and energetic. Only drawback is that it is expensive.
