Use push pins to hold in place!
The media could not be loaded. These straps look like metal, they’re a good quality and very pliable. Yes, very pricey, but there aren’t many choices out there and these look nice. You want it to look real and not cheap and fake looking. I used push pins to hold in place until the adhesive dries. Worked like a charm and you won’t see any pin holes when we take them out. I purchased the beam from the same company and the beam is beautiful. I’ll add a picture later once the adhesive cures. I just couldn’t wait to say how much I love the straps, it gives the finishing touch to the edges of the beautiful beam. I ised minwax mahogany gel stain for the beam.

Exactly what I wanted!
This is exactly what I was looking for. Not gawdy or super decorative, it's simple and rustic and perfect for this project. Looks like vintage metal, easily applied (used a brad nailer) and looks believable. I'm extremely happy with this product and ordered more.

Realistic Architectural Strap for Beam
There is no adhesive on the strap. You will need to use a small amount of construction adhesive to adhere. I used a small amount and also attach with Brad nails. While the rubber is flexible, I used a hair dryer on low heat to soften slightly to bend at the corners of the beam. The product looks great and one would never know that it is not metal.

Looks amazing.
Great product. I wrapped Faux iron around beam to get size needed. Cuts easily with box cutter, and then applied using tacky glue spray and Brad nails through rivets. Only negative is rolls are small. I was able to minimize waste by piecing together remnants with undetectable seams.

Amazing product!
The media could not be loaded. This rubber strapping is amazing! It was easy to use and I glued it on wood with no issues. I created faux rust on it as well and it came out perfect. Highly recommend!

Stunning!!
Not finished but will be absolutely stunning when we finish! Glad I bought it. I attached them with a brad nailer. I tried liquid nails but didn’t dry fast enough. Also tried round head tacks but was too hard the hold and mail. I added some rub on bronze to the nail heads to make them stand out more.
