Even better than expected!
I had never used faux leather before and wanted to start out making small items, in reasonably priced vinyl, before attempting larger bags. I ordered this set as it seemed to be quite good value for money. I was pleasantly surprised, the colours are lovely, they are soft, but substantial. No unpleasant odour. I have made a lined sunglasses case as my first attempt and found it easy to sew. I used a Teflon foot on my machine and it had no trouble, even tackling multiple layers.

Fixed a problem
I used a tiny portion of one of these fabric-backed metallic sheets to cover cracking on the top of both my trainers. I made a template and it worked a treat with an all-purpose glue. Job done in minutes. My trainers will live a little longer.
