Great for unique cards and for beginner vintage card collectors
Has all the vintage cards, but need maybe an online source to look up current prices. Card prices can change from month to month and the prices in this book should just be a guideline not the last word.

Has cards priced that are held by only a handful of people, and a lot of meaningless cards priced. All in all, the most complete guide, although not much difference from year to year.

Easy to use and comprehensive guide to vintage cards.

No Fillers, Just the Vintage Stuff
No filler nickel cards here. This is the guide for the serious collector with older cards. I have lots of pre-WWII cards. I was able to find checklists and prices for all of them. I'm glad I don't have to page through thousands of 1980s and 1990s cheap cards to find what I want.

The best baseball guide available
Far better than Beckett's guides, which simply reprint the same price values year after year. SCD provides 3-price points depending on card condition, provides photos of each set, and prints large enough that one can actually read easily. It's your best buy when assessing what cards are worth.
