The padding of the cushions on top of each step is really nice, thick, and attractive. It took my senior dog several days to realize she could use it to get up into her chair. I trained her by letting her stand on each step for a bit and then placed her in her chair to help her realize it was sturdy enough for her to be able to support her weight. She gradually started using it on her own. She is approximately 13 lbs. She now uses it to get up and down from the chair. Happy with my purchase !

Honestly, overall I would purchase another because of the price. It has worked well for our 17 year old dog and is holding up to the traffic of our other little ones. I will say though, without having it filled with stuff it is flimsy. It will easily hold the recommended weight, however, if you bump into it with your foot or a dog brushes against it it will sometimes try to lose it shape. Still, it has worked well for us.

Love the storage. My baby won't step on it though.

These definitely aren’t the sturdiest stairs but they work fine for my 10lb dog. Without anything in them they’re pretty wobbly and scared my dog at first so I would definitely recommend storing something heavy in them (I used my weighted blanket) or putting actual weights in the bottom. Now he runs up them no problem.

I love the storage when you lift the steps. My Chihuahua pup knows exactly where his toys are and helps himself. Light enough to move and sturdy enough for his weight.

Bought for my Bunnies . Easy to set up and doesn't take up space . It’s about 3 inches short of being level with my bed but they don’t mind and can easily get up! . holds a lot of items inside of stairs . Very sturdy !

I have a Mini Dachshund that was constantly jumping and I know thats a problem for their back. I got this step organizer and it has helped with no jumping and also keeping my living room organized.

I have a 20 year old cat that was having trouble getting on the couch. I already have taller steps for her to get into bed. These are great because they are not to big to sit in front of my couch and be in the way too much. And as a bonus, I can store things inside. And since they collapse, I've taken them with me when I've traveled with my kitty.
