Brittle composite. Easily chip/crack/break

Arrived cracked. I inspected the package but not carefully enough, and didn't detect it. You can crack these things by picking them up with one hand. Oddly enough, I bought two, and one of them was quite brittle while the other one was much more flexible. Do not make the mistake of thinking these things will bear any weight. A large dog or child will go right through them. Having said all that, the crack was not bad enough to prevent me from installing them, and they do what I bought them for, which is to keep rain out of my window wells. Just make sure you have a metal grate of some sort under them to support them if there's a chance a person could step on them.

Does the job

Product arrived in just a few days. It was as described and fit perfectly. It is quite sturdy and I would recommend this product. I had a hard time finding covers that would fit poured concrete window wells for a 1040’s home and these did the trick.

It should be taller

These are the best window well covers available. The last longer than any others I've tried. Good product, easy to install.

For house
