Panther Marine 55-0503 T5 Electrosteer - Saltwater

I was finally able to get about 30 hours worth of fishing Lake Michigan with my 9.9 kicker last week, it worked great until last day. I started to here some clicking coming from inside, not sure what’s going on. Mind you it still is working, I just haven’t taken it apart to see what is going on, sounds like cable jump or loose cable inside to me

This is the second Panther Marine I've had and both of them have gone bad, the first one after 1 years use and the second on the very first time I used it.I cannot recommend this product because it is not reliable

Easy to install... I have a center cockpit sailboat , an F-28, so I don't can't sit by the outboard motor... the outboard is about 6 feet from my cockpit, the otherside of the aft cabin....I have the suzuki that came with a remote throttle/shift and lift control, but I couldn't steer the motor, so I mounted the T5 easily on the 9.9 hp suzuki outboard and it doesn't interfere with the electric motor lift that raises the propeller end of the outboard out of the water.... so now I can control the outboard completely from the cockpit... the freshwater version was back ordered so I paid extra for the saltwater version... that's OK.. it will last longer...

The product couldn’t be installed because of missing parts
