SEIKO SRPD87 5 Sports Men's Watch Blue 42.5mm Stainless Steel

This watch was a father's day gift. It looks nice and the movement seems to perform well. The watch wears well and is comfortable when worn all day. My only critique is that the watch is smaller than anticipated. Not so small that it can't be read, but smaller than I thought it would be. This size also causes the watch to be more comfortable and lighter weight.Pros:-Relatively affordable for a reputable automatic movement.-Looks and feels high quality.-Wears well and is comfortable all day.Cons:-Smaller than other watches of similar style.-The day complication transitions for a long time and sticks in the middle while transitioning.Takeaway:All around a great everyday watch. The watch feels nice while being worn and keeps good time. You likely will not find a reputable automatic watch for less.

Who really needs a screw down crown? Who really needs ISO certification? I don’t and most probably you done either. You will appreciate the beautiful dial with it’s applied indices, hacking and winding in a variety of colors. The Seiko 5 sport is clearly a better choice for all the desk divers out there!

The watch has a nice appearance the blue and gold show up very bright the date and day are not to easy to read at a glance

I don't like the strap it comes with because I have a short wrist. Otherwise, I got a rubber strap, and love it..

The crown is causing redness on my skin. But other than that, it's pretty nice time piece. I'll have to give it a whole month to get to know this watch in personal level. As you can see, I replaced the strap with two piece NATO strap. I don't like the strap it has. It's flimsy and I don't like extra flaps. I like it just the way it is now. Will review it again if there's anything I need to add.12-31-22 update. I hammer a nail while watch was on my risk. The watch stopped working. After shaking for a little bit, it worked again. Now I know, this is not a par for G-Shock. It may sustain being dip into the water, but cannot handle roughness. Guess mechanical watches aren't built like Casio. Lowering stars into 3.4-29-23I down graded the watch to one star. It's not keeping time anymore. I tried to adjust it but can't even have a good reading in time grapher. I am not even sure anymore if this is really Seiko. So disappointing. My homage watches keeping time better. I should have just bought homage Seiko diver.

Nice looking watch. However, it runs pretty fast (1 min every 2-3 days), the strap wears out pretty fast.

I like the watch, even though I am not a diver. The day ,date controls from the stem are difficult to fix and I am afraid that this may be a trouble spot that takes this feature out early in the near future.

Gift for my boyfriend. The quality is excellent. He loves it and wears it everyday. The NATO strap is especially comfortable and fits his large wrist. We are very happy with this purchase.
