It's steel shot... I mean... It's not Rocket Science lol That being said, they have good weight to them and seem to fly straight. I will say their metal mat not be the best quality. Some of the bearings have a much stronger attraction to magnets than others which leads me to believe some may have more carbon than steel in the mix. This does not effect their function at all though, unless you use a magnetic band to hold ammo, then some may fall off pretty easy.

When I ordered these 300 1/4" inch steel shot slingshot ammo balls, I thought I was just adding a fun new toy to my weekend activities. Little did I know, I was actually signing up for a thrilling brush with destiny. By the end of the day, I was scratched, a bit bruised, and significantly humbled. Returning home, I counted my remaining ammo and was relieved to find I hadn't lost too many to the wilderness—or my own ineptitude. Each ball I pocketed felt like a small trophy, a survivor of my hapless adventure. Nice but I would go for a Larger size for Hunting!!!!
