It's good overall you can't expect much for what you paid. I got this sleeve because i wanted to protect the wood stock on a rifle I have. If you want something simple to protect the stock without having to spend so much money this is it.

I have purchased five of these for myself and friends. Once you get the hang of putting them on they do exactly what they advertise...protect the stock. I just spent $300 having a stock refinished. Wish I had found these years ago! Now I have one on every wooden stock gun when I go to the field.

Great Stock protection on your prized shotgun. Follow proven method to install in order to accomplish proper placement. It also offers the shooter a buffer between cheek and stock. Because of undercoat the stock guard stays in place, does not ride or move once in place. Pulling too hard has a tendency to eventually tare or rip at the seams.

Tames the recoil so much even 3 inches shells are as light as low brass bird shot.

I think it makes the stock more comfortable

Fits like a glove beretta a glove beretta a300 and silver pigeon, a bit on the expensive side but well worth it to help keep the guns ding free.
