I bought them for pressure sores and they are brilliant

Q: Is this just film or does it have a sticky white border?

The white border comes off after you portion the film

Q: Is this suitable to put over a HRT patch to stop it coming off?

No you are not supposed to put anything over an HRT patch. If the patch fell off do not replace it, just apply one the following day. Please follow your doctor instructions.

Q: Can these be used to cover an impetigo outbreak to reduce risk of infecting others at home?

I wouldn’t advise it. They are sticky backed all the way across the film so it would be uncomfortable to peel it off broken skin.
