My Bed Recliner
I hurt my back some months back and I’ve had to spend more time in bed. I looked the entire internet over for pillows that would offer actual back support to sit up against in bed. I have triangles and long triangles and body pillows etc but none helped. This is a proxy pillow but it gave me back the ability to work on my business and feel like a valued member of society again- not just someone who hurt they’re back and goes to PT twice a week and is just a human blob on my bed.I really can’t recommend this pillow enough- it also comes with a small, square pillow for lumbar support. 10/10. I plan to clean mine and pass it on to someone else I know who has back problems when I’m better, just because they are pricey. But if you are ever stuck in bed for more than a few weeks you will NEED this pillow.

Love this thing
Let me start off by saying I really enjoy this product and would recommend it to anyone. My computer is hooked up to my TV and I use this for comfortable viewing of movies, playing games, browsing the net and writing documents.Pros:+ Feels very sturdy and durable.+ The pockets on the sides are a great idea. I store my TV remote, wireless mouse and wireless game controller in it.+ Outer Fabric is really comfortable and the fact you can remove it for machine washing is excellent.+ Massive improvement over a pile of pillows. Very comfortable and very noticeably reduced fatigue from being in a sitting position, work or play.Cons:- Costs way more than it should. I would charge $99 MAYBE.- Not weighted so you need to either pile a few pillows behind it or have a wall behind you.- The advertised lumbar support is not as firm as necessary. It is a small pillow that goes in a pocket to press into your back, but its too small. However you can place your own pillow additional to that included if you need it to compensate.- The adjustment of the head piece is limited in that it doesn't stay in place consistently. I just leave mine near the bottom position. I would imagine it would work better as advertised if I actually had this against a wall instead of a few pillows. So to summarize, I really enjoy this. My biggest gripe is the price for what you get. Otherwise I have no regrets and plan on using this for a long time.

Very nice
Definitely a step up from my last purchase of a TV pillow.Mine had two straps extending about 10 inches each at the end of the arms? The photos don't show this and I can't figure out what they are for. I tucked them into the side pockets but, not as I would have liked. I also removed the top pillow portion because it is made for a taller person. The side pockets are large enough to insert things without having them only half in. Very nice feature.

Great for those who must sleep sitting up
My husband is on oxygen for COPD and sleeps mostly upright in a recliner at home. When we travel and stay in motels, he uses this back rest and adds pillows alongside the arms for added support. Much better than standard back rests and worth the expense. Best price I found. The H-S store sells the same thing for $25 more. I chose the burgundy color so I won’t overlook it when checking out of a room.

No more tipping!
I got this for my elderly fil - he uses a wedge to sleep on and he was tipping over every night into my mil’s sleeping space. I put the wedge in between the arms and it’s been working to keep him on his wedge and not tipping over every night! 🙂. There is even a little pocket space on the outside of the arm that works for holding his cell phone at night so it doesn’t get lost in the covers. Definitely an improvement to the situation!

Comfy, sturdy, just what I needed.
I ordered this for my wife who had neck surgery and I knew she needed support while recuperating. I wanted to buy an adjustable bed frame but was shocked at the prices ($1500+). Plus, since I don’t have a split mattress, if she wanted to be in a sitting position, I would have to be in the same position. I found this while searching on Amazon and I thought it would be a good alternative but I found it more expensive than I expected. I decided to pull the trigger and got it the day my wife returned from the hospital. She loved it! It is very sturdy, comfortable, and seems to be constructed well. Only time will tell about that but so far it is exactly what we needed.

Comfortable. Expensive.
Considering that this is not an actual lazy boy, it's pretty seriously comfortable. The benefits seemed hyped up but I really wanted something like this for reading for school so for me it's worth it. My neck and shoulders are happy when I use it for that purpose. It seems better for sitting up straight than for lounging- it claims it has a "lounge mode" but that just means "tip the thing back a bit." Which works, but not enough to qualify as a separate "mode". It's expensive but you can console yourself that at least you're not buying it from a reseller such as Gaiam where it's marked up even more. The lumbar support could be more but you can just put a slightly bigger pillow behind you so that doesn't matter too much. I'm not aware of something similar that's cheaper. I was particularly trying to avoid fire retardants, and I read somewhere that this doesn't have any. I am considering whether to purchase the knee pillow... again, super expensive but it might be super comfy!
