Amazed. So far
First off I wanna say I’m an audio person. I love music I love sound. I was very skeptical about this Radio for the price, but I figured it was worth a shot instead of spending two to $300 and I don’t need a CD player, very simple to hook up. I have it in a two door Silverado with two 6 x 9 behind the seat and two door speakers, I’m sure we all know there’s not 200 W to this, but I will say overall the sound is amazing. Definitely more than loud enough and has more than enough base,. Now I will say that the Bluetooth so far has been flawless, so far after over a week of use, I have to give this five stars.

Great cheap stereo
I bought this stereo the first time from amazon warehouse for $15 because I needed a cheap stereo to install quickly in my jeep before an upcoming trip when my stereo died. It was going to be temporary until I could find something better. But I installed it, and I was really happy with it. Now I bought another jeep, and even though I willing to spend "good money", honestly I was happy with this stereo, and bought another one because I liked it. Good: * The phone bluetooth works "seamlessly". If I'm connected to bluetooth, it interrupts my music correctly when I get a phone call, or need to use voice dictation. - This is really important to me. Even the stereo in my brand new $100k diesel truck doesn't do this correctly - leading to missed calls. * the built in speakerphone for phonecalls, is decent. Not awesome. But the call quality on the other end of the phone meets or exceeds the quality you'd expect from someone talking to you on speakerphone from a 25 year old jeep. * It remembers the last type of media you were playing, and continues playing it. It starts from the track you were on. * The physical buttons are easy to use. I hate touch screens. * I'm not an audiophile, but I like loud music, and this drives 4x 5.25's just fine without an additional amp. The bad: * The only downside is that I listen to MP3's on a USB stick regularly - and as mentioned it remembers that and starts playing them where I left off - however, I almost always use "random shuffle" mode, and it doesn't remember that. So it just starts from that track and continues playing in order from that point. Not the end of the world of course. So yeah, for the price, you can't beat this thing, and even while building my new stereo I just didn't want to deal with the potential unknown annoyances of a new deck, so I just stuck with this one that has been serving me well for a couple years now.

Display doesn't dim, otherwise pretty good and works as advertised.
Updating my original review. I thought the rear speakers weren't working, but it turns out the stock door speakers were rotted, and the connector inside the door that the speaker wires go through was severely corroded. Some contact cleaner and new door speakers and I had all four channels working. Installation was a breeze and it sounds good. Linked up to my phone no problem. FM radio reception is great, I can pick up stations my home stereo can't dream of getting. There are two small problems: The aux input is not sufficiently isolated, meaning if you plug your device into the cigarette lighter port for power, it will pick up a high pitched whine, especially noticeable at high volume. I had to buy a $10 ground loop filter to make this noise go away. The other thing is, there is no dimmer on this head unit. My last head unit (and the stock one) had a wire that allowed the display to dim, controlled by the dashboard dimmer knob. No such wire on this one, and also no ability to dim the display manually. This means it's bright and distracting at night. Not a deal killer, but together these knocked a star off the review.

Lasted less than a year
March 12th 2021 edit: the radio is no longer functional. Doesn't power up. Rechecked all wiring, all power is there, no blown fuses. I'll be looking for another brand. UPDATED March 2021. The radio shuts itself off randomly while driving, no fuses popped, no wires burnt, just stops playing all together. I am a 100% confident in the wiring of this system, 2x this week within a few minutes of it being at volume 25, it shuts off, and is unable to be turned back on for several minutes. I have a hardwire line straight from a fuse block, and ground straight to chassis with no additional accessories, simply powering 4 speakers. I'm incredibly disappointed this radio didn't last long and I'm shopping for its replacement. Sounds good, looks good. Has its own app and works great with bluetooth. I'm only powering 2 5" mids and 2 2.5 inch tweeter a as of now but it sounds way better than my previous 30 year old stereo.

Great functionality/value - but mounting is a PIA - NO attachment points!
Since I already own a decent Android Auto unit I just needed a radio in my newly-acquired used car, because the existing bottom-of-the-line 2005 Toyota radio didn't even have an AUX input to use with the Android Auto box's output. The price was certainly right with this unit as well as all the functionality/features. Performing a custom mount on this unit has been extremely tricky, as there are absolutely NO MOUNTING/ATTACHMENT POINTS AT ALL ON THE BODY OF THIS RADIO! To rely totally on the included thin metal cage for mounting, especially considering the unit is so shallow, is pretty ridiculous and not helpful in any way. I threw it in the trash. Thankfully I'm pretty resourceful and I'm fabricating some custom extensions to the standard mounting brackets used with the stock Toyota radio. Autozone had an adapter harness compatible with the Toyota Matrix so I could solder up the complete harness, using both it and the included connector with this radio. Briefly tested it out and the sound is pretty decent, though the lousy Toyota speakers don't really allow you to actually hear the full sound potential of the radio. Have ordered upgraded speakers. All should be good. All in all a decent little radio. Total lack of mounting flexibility is the only really BIG complaint. For the price - how can I complain...

Quick install, great unit
I just received my Jensen a.m. FM Bluetooth radio which replaces one that I had previously that finally gave out. This is in my 2005 Toyota Corolla. Very basic wiring install very small unit without the CD. I was surprised how short it was in the back. But everything worked great took me less than 20 minutes to take it out and put in the new one. Functionality no problems at all more presets on AM FM that I would ever use. Bluetooth functionality works great and answering the phone and speaker coming through from my phone. No problems with connectivity. Microphone seems to work well for Bluetooth. Definitely a great buy for the price.

it is, what it is...
Overall, I give it a 5. Is it really a 5? Probably not. But, I gave it that rating, because it is a cheap audio head unit, so expectations isn't high to begin with. So, for what it is, yeah, it's a 5 for me. It was a breeze to install, and very straight forward. I was shocked at how thin, and light this thing was. It is only about an inch deep, but then again, no CD or tape mechanics in it, kind of makes sense. I like the features it has, and again, it's only a $30 unit, so, .... I drive a classic ex-Military 4x4 Dodge Power Wagon. It is cammed, and dual exhausted with flowmasters, so, it's loud. I am not sure if I will be able to hear this thing as I roar down the road, or trail. But. again, for what it is, sounds pretty decent. I might have to add some power and better speakers to it at some point to hear it over the roar of my truck. But, happy with the purchase at this point. As with everything these days, it is how long it will last is the main question. We will see.. But for cheap audio for non-audiophile types, this is a pretty good option. Update: Ok.. I initially gave this unit a 5, because I liked the size and ease of it. However I changed it to a 2. When I first installed it, it worked great. But within a week of being installed, the display went out. It still worked, but I could not change any of the settings, because the display could not be seen to navigate around. It still played my MP3's though, so I tolerated it as I moved onto other things in my old truck. It at least gave me tunes while I worked on the truck. I recently put my truck on the road, and the old truck runs and drives great. However, almost immediately, I noticed this radio started cutting in and out. It's not a station thing, because I don't use the radio part of it. I solely use it to play my music collection on MP3. Every bump, the sound would cut out, then back on. I am a retired electrician (aircraft) by trade, and was meticulous on the electrical connections, so I doubted it was due to poor wiring. I gave it the benefit of the doubt though, and went in to check my wiring, and connections. And yep, aircraft quality work, and everything was tight, and good connections, so it much be internal of the head unit. So, on the road, this unit is useless. Any changing of settings, useless and can not do blind with the panel not working at all. I can only use it to listen to my MP3s while sitting still, or working in the truck. I will be replacing this thing soon. I'm just glad it wasn't very expensive. So, now this unit is a "Nope!" Update again: Well, weird, but my display started working again. BUT, NOW no sound at all. All connections are still fine as I looked. But, now no sound at all. So, this unit is going to be removed and thrown as far as I can throw it. I bought it because it carried the Jensen name, which I always had faith in. But, that is quickly changing. Sure, I know it's a cheap unit, but at any price, it should work. At least for a year or so. I got about a months use out of this crap. Downgraded from 4 star, to 3 star, now to a 1 star for me.

Incredibly small, easy to install.
I wanted a radio that would provide streaming radio capability in my old truck. This radio is incredibly small and light. Easy to wire and the wiring diagram was easy to understand. Installation was a little challenging because the DIN mounting bracket was designed for the radio to slide all the way in. My Ford truck had a plastic trim that was designed to fit between the radio faceplate and the DIN mounting bracket which prevented the radio from snapping-in to the bracket. This radio does not have a removable trim ring around the front face (what you see in the Amazon ad is the way the radio slides-in. The size and weight of this radio is impressive, no rear mounting support bracket is required (even though Jensen did provide a screw hole in the rear heat sink). The audio power (volume) is adequate, not quite as loud as my other radios (also rated 200W), but close. The tone controls do not provide any graphic equalizer, only BASS, TREBLE and Loudness, but the radio does produce a decent sound for an inexpensive radio. The Bluetooth paired easily but I had to turn the volume in my iPhone to max to get decent volume on the radio. The controls feel quality and have detent click (even the volume knob). Jensen paperwork says the warranty is 1-year (2-year if you register on-line). Amazon says the warranty is 2-year (3-year if you register on-line). I saved the Amazon ad with my warranty paperwork. On-line registration was easy and not very invasive (personal information). I do recommend you take a picture of the radio serial number before you install it (handy for on-line registration).

Absolute no-brainer!
I purchased this little Jensen to replace the factory head unit in a friends 2006 Hyundai Tuscon. Made up a quick harness/adaptor before install day and after removing the old unit it literally took a couple of minutes and the job was complete! Fits perfectly, works perfectly and sounds incredible... however you need to be careful when testing as it's far more powerful than the factory head unit and I accidentally blew the front drivers side speaker in the process, whoops :) All good though as even a couple of inexpensive replacements will round the whole upgrade off nicely.

Excellent value
I bought this to replace the deck in my camping trailer. I had to make a cover for the huge hole in the cabinet that the original deck had, but other than that installation was straightforward as far as decks go. I wasn't looking for great sound, it's just for some music while camping, but it's clear and not tinny. It has USB, which is what we wanted, much more useful than CDs now a days. The operation is simple, didn't need to look at the manual. Never used or needed the Bluetooth, I guess I could make and take calls hands free while in my trailer. There is an app you can download to control the deck, my Android phone works perfectly with it. No setup required, just open the app and do what you want. You can control everything with the app, even turn it off or on from outside the trailer. I consider this and excellent value for my needs.

Great update to an older vehicle
Picked up a 2002 chevy avalanche in really good shape but the stereo had no interface for my phone. This unit solves this problem very economically. Definitely helpful to get the recommended wiring harness and single din mounting bracket. Great Bluetooth functionality. Once paired, connects automatically when I start the truck. USB allows for my phone to be conveniently charged while using. Output is definitely good enough for the stock amp and speakers to create decent sound. Had challenges because the stock amp in the truck has a separate wiring harness that provides power to the speakers but has no obvious way to connect to the unit. Not the fault of the head unit. Found a YouTube video to solve this. Needed to splice one wire from the amp wiring harness to a spare wire from the recommended aftermarket harness because the path to the speakers goes through the hidden stock amp.

Lasted 6 months
Worked ok for 6 months but now power cuts in and out, audio randomly drops out. Appears to be due to harness connector on back of unit. Maybe dry or bad solder to board...
