Spyderco Tenacious, Folding, 3.3 in, 8Cr13MoV Steel, C122GBBKPS

Excellent value!!! I bought this as a “junker” heavy use EDC and I’m very impressed with the quality of this knife for the price. I originally got the Manix 2 XL and it is so nice (and expensive) that I couldn’t justify trashing it with every day heavy use. And it is really to large for EDC. This Tenacious model fits the purpose just right. Hopefully it will hold up as I’m sure it will. I chose the serrated combo blade because I cut thru 1/2” thick fiber reinforced rubber on a regular basis and I hope the blade steel holds an edge well. Love the spyderco thumb hole on these knives. I’ve owned most all of the other brands out there but these are my first spyderco knives. The tenacious was a little stiff out of the box but I oiled it and worked it a bit and it is nice and smooth now. Very good quality control with no blade wobble and blade lock is rock solid.

I love Spyderco it is a great product the knife is light and sharp. The only thing I wish is that it was spring assisted. But that's neither here nor there

Man, for a cheap imported knife, this thing is really impressive. Not a normal occurrence, but I happened to have been lucky enough to purchase 2 very nice knives this week. While at a local knife shop I picked up a Benchmade 583sbk at a killer price, fell in love with the second i picked it up and knew it was going to be my new EDC. Prior to picking that knife up locally I had ordered the Spyderco on amazon, there was a delay in shipping so it didn't get to me in the one or two day post ordering. Well, anyway, picked up that really sweet benchmade and thought the spyderco was gonna wind up in my tool box, but much to my surprise this spyderco was pretty much THE perfect EDC knife, even with out the Tanto blade I usually prefer. Just felt solid and like a quality machine. Super easy action, I have a really strong feeling that this will be my most used EDC going forward. Nice slim profile, love the texture on the g-10 grips, easy peasy one handed open and close, smooth as a babies ass action, just a quality knife. I would like to play around with it with some gloves on (that is an area that the Bench made rocked, It was pushing zero degrees out this last weekend and snow and ice in my area, I used it all weekend outside with gloves and the Benchmade rocked) given the nice thumb protrusion on the Spyderco I expect similar results.I plan on adjusting the pocket clip for a tip up carry, that is my favorite postion, and that leads to another win on the Spyderco side, it is set up to have 4 positions for the clip, so you can carry this thing any way your heart desires!! Grab it, this thing is one quality tool for the price point, yeah, its made in China, I imagine there are not a lot of sub $100 knives in this category that aren't. Saw a previous reviewer whining about that, but you'd have to be a fool to think other wise, and it is clearly stated in the description as well. I will update this after a few months of use, but honestly, it is really great bang for the buck!!

Spyderco at a budget price still nice

Great basic EDC knife. It would have been 5 stars, but the screws fell out on the pocket clip in the first 45 days. So I had to rig it to keep the clip on. The whole reason I bought it was to carry in the pocket for easy access.

Great knife VERY figitable one of my faves

Buena navaja para portar a diario. Bien afilada y preparada para todo. Mango de G10 con muy buen agarre, incluso con guantes o manos mojadas. Spyderco (aunque este modelo está fabricado en China) es sinónimo de calidad. Esperemos a ver cómo retiene el filo y que tal es el afilado.

カッコいいですね。 片手で簡単にオープンできます。 研いだら黒い塗膜も少し落ちますが、それがまた使い込んだ様でカッコいい。 果物ナイフ代わりに使って見ましたがグリップも握りやすく良品です。

Excelente calidad. Pareciera que por ser manufacturado en China, la calidad no es optima pero es todo lo contrario. Desde que la tomas con la mano sientes la buena calidad de materiales y funcionamiento. La hoja viene muy afilida de fabrica y es muy comoda y ligera.
