This is one of the best food products of its kind that I have found. Kosher, Gluten Free AND Low in SODIUM? Highly recommend for soup making and other cooking purposes. Very easy to mix with the water - unlike some powders I have tried previously.Husband tried the stock as a hot drink ....not his favourite, he likes this product in the chicken version.However, I made lentil - vegetable soup yesterday using this to make the stock ....best lentil soup I have made in years.Will I buy it again? Absolutely!!

it has a tiny fraction of the sodium of regular beef bouillon but all of the flavor. highly recommend esp. for those among us who must restrict dietary sodium but refuse to give up flavor.

I added this to several dishes in place of salt and really like it. Made into broth per directions, it was a little too bland; I tried 3 teaspoons to a cup of water and it was perfect. This of course brings the sodium up around 420mg, but still well under the 800mg+ in regular bullion.

Great for low sodium ramen noodles. Just replace flavor packet with flavor base to taste.

To add liquid to soups, crock pots, and sauces, sodium free was the most important thing I wanted, but I also got excellent flavor!

I bought this beef base after trying a chicken base that I liked, but I should have read the fine print. There is absolutely no beef in this product - it would be suitable for vegans (I think). It is low sodium, but it is also low flavor, too. Will probably use up (I hate waste) , but not buy again.

I use it in chili and other sauces requiring a meaty flavor. It is the absolute best product I've found. Far better than grocery store brands.

Disappointing. It had the lower sodium we've been searching for but we ended up using twice as much (and then having to add regular bouillion) because we couldn't get even a hint of beef flavor taste. Same problem with their chicken flavor.
