I am looking at this and the shipping is almost as much as the pet grass itself, so how can people afford that? No shipping for a bulk order!

the website says free shipping on subscription orders but this is not entirely true, the cost on amazon for the medium grass is 18.00 plus 10.00 shipping which equals 28.00. On the website you can subscribe and order the medium grass but the cost is 26.00. So if they charge 26.00 and the actual cost is 18.00 as amazon charges, then the difference of 8.00 is what you are paying the company for the shipping. Shipping is incorporated in the total cost. So shipping is not really free.

Approximately how often does someone typically have to purchase a new box of grass?

Hello!This depends on frequency of use! We have people that purchase weekly, every two weeks, every 3 weeks etc... It just all depends on how often your dog is using the product. If this is the sole potty area for your pet we recommend getting new grass every week or every other week!- Megan

Does the tray leak? If I put it on my deck will the urine leak to my downstairs neighbor or on the wood of my deck? Is it strictly inside?

I've had my DoggieLawn on a second floor deck for a couple months. I ordered from Amazon first to try it out which came in a cardboard tray. The cardboard tray did not leak for a couple weeks I used it. I subscribed to the biweekly shipments from DoggieLawn because it worked out well for me and my Frenchie - they sent me a plastic tray. That hasn't leaked either.

how do you replace the grass and at what cost? How often on average?
