For people with chemical sensitivity and are sensitive to smell, there is definitely a chemical rubber smell that can be a bit overwhelming and can trigger asthma. Let it air out for 1 day or 2.It's a little slippery on the hands for some poses (downward dog).

I'm very happy with this purchase. The yoga mat arrived in perfect condition and within the estimated time. The material feels of excellent quality, is non-slip and has the ideal thickness to protect the joints during postures. It does not slip on a wooden floor or on a tile.In addition, the fact that it is ecological is a great plus. It comes with its cover and a strap that makes it very easy to transport, so I take it to the studio without any problem. The design is also very beautiful and the color is as seen in the photos.

This mat is great for me. We have oak hardwood floors and it doesn't move when I use it for stretching/knee rehab. I have older mats that have flown out under me especially when getting back off the floor. This one is rock solid.

The mat has more cushioning than the typical yoga mat. It keeps my knees and elbows from hurting. And is firm enough to handle balancing moves. The one disappointment is that the mat easily gets cut by fingernails and toenails. That never happened to me with the thinner regular yoga mats. Especially when posing in downward dog the nails are cutting into the mat. It's too soft.
