Do not buy from pal2000 they use carbon steel which rusts and leaves bad taste.
This knife is unusable or any type of food preparations, its made out of carbon steel and not stainless steel therefore it rusts very quickly and leaves an unpleasant metal taste on food.I am highly disappointed to this as the knife is very pretty but best you can do with it is open letters and keep on the shelve for dust collection.

Not Stainless steel, will rust quickly just in air.
Carbon steel, rusted in a week with no use , very annoying as the knife appeared beautiful at first. I Complained to seller who gave me a refund.

Could have been manufactured with a bit more care
A very nice knife but the etching has been sanded/polished off where it meets the wooden handle which is shame for such an attractive knife.
