PA09 PTO Extender, Female 1-3/8" & 6 Spline, Male 1-3/8" & 6 Spline, 70HP

I am using this with a post hole digger (PHD). Most PHDs come with the dreaded push/pull PTO connector. This extension made attaching the PTO a breeze. Fit, Value and Ease of Installation give this a 5 star.

Purchased this item because I am the proud owner of a Ford 501 Sickle mower. Originally mounted on a 8N/9N tractor, yet I own a LS MT45. Modern vs Older. The original PTO does not have a Quick release and never had. It requires a pin or bolt. Consequently this is the reason why I bought this. Works PERFECTLY.

Snug fit is good. Knocked off one star simply because I haven't used it much yet. But fit on tractor & Bush Hog is perfect. No complaints at this point.

I have a 20 hp compact tractor and a small 42" rotary brush cutter (very small for small tractor and blades are getting hard to find). The PTO shaft is short to accommodate the small tractor. I bought a 45 hp tractor and didn't yet have a cutter and needed to wait on buying a bigger cutter. I priced a longer pto shaft and decided to give this extender a try. The short pto shaft needed at least 2" and as you can see in the photos it extended the reach by 4". My concern was that this extender may be flimsy and add too much vibration to the driveline. This extender is heavy duty, has the same spline and the same release button. After cutting tall thick weeds, brush up to 1 1/2" diameter, limbs, roots etc. and approximately 30 hours of use I have no worries and have nothing but praise for this HEAVY piece of equipment accessory. No concerns of the minor added vibration as it was monitored closely as are the seals at each end without leaks so far. I'll remove it and use it for my post hole auger when I get the bigger cutter.

Nice works great

I cut a $300 PTO shaft too short. THis saved me a TON of money. Well built and easy to use. Add some grease to both ends for easier install.

It works as expected and has held up well. I installed it so I could use a pto pump and have not had any issues. I recommend this one.
