Works great for the applications mentioned. Had a bad CAT 6 signal wire stretching 100ft. Plugged it in and showed me which wire channel had an issue and found the break. Simple and quick.

Works great for my needs. Gives a good strong signal when it picks up the tone and I can check my connections to make sure I wired and crimped the cat cable correctly.

Does t come with a case and needs a second set patch cables for rj45s but it works well for my uses. There are some quality concerns for later down the line like the switch for the on off for the toner is a dial that also adjusts the volume of the tones. I was able to do trouble shooting fairly quickly with it had some reversed wires in a cable even though it was terminated correctly wouldn't have known until someone called saying it wasn't working. All in all it's a solid tool you get what you pay for.

I had used testing only one time at the fist day and didn't use it for a long time, but as I need to test it after a while the probe stopped working. I asked for sending me another one and they sent me a new one. Thank you

Good for occasional home use or small projects, but I’d recommend looking at higher-end kits if you need something more reliable and consistent for professional work.

Good overall product, not great reach of the probe. Approx 5 cm from the cable when searching.
