Inversion Tarot In A Tin

Not quite a true Tarot de Marseille; Fortitude or Strength is #8 instead of #11, which of course means that the Justice card is #11. This is a faux pas, as is the suit of Pentacles in place of Coins.As a TdM reader, I was thrilled by a TdM in a tin, but disappointed by it not being a true TdM.True, it is based on the deck by Rolla Nordic, but even that deck got Fortitude and Justice right even if they share pentacles in place of coins.Still, I really like the tarot in a tin product line and hope that more genuine TdMs are included. I already have the Tarot of Maria Celia which is the only TdM tarot in a tin published by US Games Systems Inc.I like the aesthetics of white on black and aside from my complaints, I will use them. Maybe US Games will eventually reissue it, or better yet, make more genuine TdMs available in a tin.

The first thing I need to say about this deck is in the title. While the deck is drawn in the TdM style, Justice and Strength are numbered by the RWS system, and the card meanings in the LWB also follow the RWS. Having said that, it's a visually striking deck and a pleasure to work with.

Finally "Marseille" type tarot for 2020! Marseille cards usually hurt my eyes with the primary colors.. I'm not going to nitpick about the positions of the cards (8&11) It's a $13 deck!! I did like it enough that I bought another one, 1 for my purse and another for my collection!

I read the reviews and they said the numbers of some where wrong? Mines weren’t. I’m in love with this deck.

Beautiful little addition to my collection. Absolutely adore the heavy black and minimal white pip cards, and the artwork diverges just enough from traditional images that it feels new. Great size, wish more decks came in tins!

I’ve been carrying this around in my bag for weeks and the tin still looks like new. Much better than tarot in a box because the cardboard starts falling apart in your bag.The white-on-black design is striking and perfect for ex-goth 50somethings like me.

Bought it on a whim, and boy I'm happy!Card stock is great, I like the simplicity, and sometimes I pair it with the Hermetic Tarot, which is also b&w. Perfect for travelling with it, if that's your thing.

I have far too many decks, but ordered this and another due to wanting smaller decks to bring with me, and also, for shuffling purposes. My hands are pretty small, and I have some mobility issues with my thumb (joint issue from a work injury)- when I’m having a any pain or my joint is stiff, it makes shuffling larger cards a challenge. These are a bit smaller than a standard deck of playing cards, which makes manipulating them a breeze.The art is nice, the card stock is better than I expected, so they’re durable and will hold up well to weekly use, I feel. The tin isn’t overly large and the book that came with it is perfect. No long winded explanations, just the essential keywords.I hope I don’t have to replace the deck any time soon, but I wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase, or suggest these to people looking for portability or a smaller sized deck.

Cartas con excelente calidad de impresión, fáciles de leer y sin distracciones por colores. El tamaño es portátil, de un 75% del tamaño de cartas normales. Vienen en una caja de metal para poderlo cargar donde sea.
