Exactly what I expected

Installed in the minimum recommended hole size it works great. Otherwise it jams occasionally.
If the hole you're putting it in is larger than the recommended hole size, the deadbolt could jam in the locked position. You're better off drilling a hole of the minimum recommended diameter than trying to use an existing hole that's larger. The instructions may say that you can use a slightly larger hole, but I would recommend against that. I installed one in a hole of the minimum recommended diameter, and it worked fine. My boss told me to put the second one in a pre-existing hole that was larger. I didn't do it out of principle and left it for someone else to do. The one another guy installed in a larger hole jammed twice before my boss decided to replace it with another model of occupancy indicator.

Malfunctioned and locked our customers in. Finally happened to lady's room too!
We had to break the door down to let customers out of the bathroom because one of these locks malfunctioned and stuck in the locked position. The key would not turn nor the handle. This caused more damage to the door frame than the lock was worth! Do not buy. -- UPDATE: The same thing finally happened to the lady's room also! You will spend more in repairs!
