Seattle's Best Whole Bean Coffee - 5 Pound Bag (5 LB) Commercial Size (Decaf Level 3)

I'm use to getting free high end coffee from work since I've been a barista for over 10 years, but am currently unemployed like alot of service workers. I ordered that Kati Kati because starbucks is pretty consistent in quality. It's nearly impossible to find decent coffee for $6 per lb... keep in mind most grocery store bags are 12 oz or less. I didn't read much about this blend but could tell it was african from the aroma, got some of that vaugly savory profile I assosiate with kenyan coffee balanced by a bit of floral and sweet lemon I'd associate with some ethiopians. Over all I think the coffee has a pleasant wood like quality (think how good old furniture smells) with a natural sweetness.My first barista job was starbucks and they use these silver 5lb bags at the store. I kind of assume this coffee is out of date but coffee dosen't really "go bad" and while it might not be at the peak of it's shelf life it's still a perfectly good daily cup for a budget. Someone called the beans "dull" in a review but coffee releases more oil when it's roasted darker, this is more of a medium for starbucks, so it's not excessively oily. Lighter roasts generally showcase different nuances of the coffee. I'm torn as to weather I want to risk trying a different blend now that my bag is running low or try something else.

The beans are fresh, stamped with 9/2022 as expiration date. The beans made great cold brew coffee. I will order again. Highly recommend this beans to all, they are perfect!!!

The smell is awesome. It is so overwhelming out of the bag. Great taste! Not sure what warmth has to do with cold brew beans but wife does use it for hot coffee too.

I’m giving one star because it's not made clear that it's being sold well past it Best By Date (BBD). Granted it's not milk and is still brew-able but the fact that it's old/expired should be fully disclosed.Also you can find it (SBUX Commercial bags disclosed as being past the BBD) for a lot less ($15/5LBS bag) from other reputable sellers online so the value here is very poor and I will buy it again, just not here.

The media could not be loaded.  Was so excited to receive the cold brew. When arrived I heard rattling in the box and I knew the bag was leaking, sure enough there was a large cut in the bag. The coffee is more then likely stale. I didn’t realize I couldn’t return this item. I ordered casi before this one and it was great. Probably will rethink about ordering beans again.

We have two french presses, so we use a lot of coffee beans. I LOVE Starbucks Blonde Roast Veranda, and buying it in this 5 pound bag is perfect for us! The price is great when I buy the big bag too!

Very rich and delicious coffee! We have tried Brookln coffee and white monkey, wish the monkey was alright. I really like this brand. Don't have to use as much either!

Freshness was okay, Crema was not abundant. However the aroma was very good and strong. Notes of chocolate and roasted nuts. Great Value better than Lavazza. This is a medium roast but the results are light.
