VViViDBlack Matte Air-Release Adhesive Vinyl Tape Roll (0.5 Inch x 20ft)

The VViViD Black Matte Air-Release Adhesive Vinyl Tape was purchased to restore the console in a 1966 Plymouth Belvedere, which greatly improved the appearance as seen in photo. I’m not to confident in long term adhesion, I think the tape could be a tad stronger and more sticky. It is flimsy enough to maneuver to follow the contours in small area as in this console. In regards to long term use, such as fingernails and withstanding cleaning products & extreme temperature’s, only time will tell. But for now, I think it turned out nice.

I got a role of some el cheapo vinyl wrap tape to dechrome my window trim and it was terrible to work with........especially rounding corners. Took it off and bought this VViViD tape and it was super easy to stretch around corners and didn't tear. It sticks well and looks great. The quality of the tape matters.

This is a very solid product it is as advertised, durable, has good adhesive properties, good quality, and pretty easy for even beginners, you will need to have a squeegee prefereably one with a felt side, and also a heat gun to help activate the sticky adhesive, i will say this is hard to work on any irregular surface, i ordered the 8 inch flat black vinyl and was very pleased will definitely order again.This review was given as of 1 day of applying the vinyl film

Made some custom stripes for my truck bed used this for base. Bubble free can be pulled and repositioned before applying pressure and heat without stretch. This will be my go to from now on. Excellent

This appears to have been cut with a hacksaw. Little pieces of chaff from the poorly cut edge get under the adhesive and show up as frustrating bumps when applied. The adhesive is unusable at room temp. It was acceptable after sitting in the sun on a 90-degree day, but still not great. Electrical tape and an exacto knife would produce better results. If I had purchased this product first, I would avoid other vvivid products. I have been pleased with their other products in the past, but this item is garbage.

This tape arrived on time and was not damaged. I am not a pro and usually hire people to do handy work. My 2023 Toyota 4 Runner Limited had to much chrome in front. I cleaned the area and measured the area. Using a hair dryer for heat I applied it. It’s not perfect. But it was fun. I still have to touch up some spots. Yes I will buy this again it’s worth the money.

Update: The company reached out to me and gave me a refund no questions asked. They did not request an update to the review which actually compelled me to update the review! I want this review to reflect their excellent customer service. I upped the review to 3 stars because while the tape I recieved was not a quality product the company obviously cares and would not want to hurt their business. Perhaps I recieved an clunker which may not be their faault. Original review below but I would recommend the company and will try to order the same product again.This product took 2 weeks to arrive when it was supposed to be prime one day. When I finally got it complete garbage. Zero adhesive and all raggedy. Other than that its perfect! Yikes. Now I'm debating if its worth my time to trudge over to Kohl's to return it for the 6 bucks. Oh well.

As usual the builders only did the Victorian window effect on the front windows of the house. I've used the Vs products before so thought I'd try them on the back windows. It actually looks amazing, especially from the outside. Very happy.

Worked exactly as I expected, even exceeding my expectations in several areas. Takes heat well, bends and cuts like a dream. Great matte finish that didn't warp under my use, or change in any way, regardless of angles or surface. Highly recommend this product and will definitely order and use again!
