The submersibles really work!
I used the submersibles as part of a three-vase centerpiece. They stayed at the bottom of the glass and illuminated it perfectly. Easy to open, turn on, and close back after use. Just the perfect size, price, and quantity. Lasted through the evening and I will be able to use them again.

Perfect for vases
I placed these lights in the bottom of centerpiece flower arrangement. I like that you can twist to turn them on and off so easy to reuse. Nice white light that is not too blue. Perfect for my needs and I know I will be using them often in the future.

Pretty sinking submersible lights, but maybe only one use
They were perfect for what I needed--I had translucent vases that I wanted lit from inside. These sink, so I put three in each vase, with floating candles on the top. The effect was beautiful! I'm not giving them 5 stars, because after a few hours in the water, water leaked inside each candle. I had to dry them carefully, and they still rusted. I think that I'll be able to use them again, but if you want something for only one use, these will work well.

Brilliant ... but not submersible.. Unless..
They work just great and they are truly stunning! The only problem was they wouldn't submerge. And unfortunately my wife absolutely wanted them submerged.Luckily - they are fully submersible in alcohol (denatured alcohol is fine, although whisky is best - has a golden hue). If you have to use water - place a penny on top of the battery and screw it in tight till it seals. It will then sink to the bottom even in water.

AWESOME!!
These lights were AWESOME! Put them in the bottom of the Water Floating Candle Lanterns Outdoor Biodegradable Lanterns for our daughter's wedding and set them out on a small pond. Not only did they last all night and into the next afternoon (that's when I picked them up and turned them off) but some of them had turned upside down in the water.

Bought these to use inside of some paper lanterns I bought. Simply look great!! I love em!

just ok
they were ok. Wished they were brighter and lasted longer but for a wedding or birthday party they would probably work great but not for regular home decor
