Yogitoes Skidless Premium Mat-Size Yoga Towel

Compared to the Yogitoes towel I purchased approximately six years and have used almost exclusively, I was disappointed in how light this towel is. My previous towel is still in great condition; it has been in the dryer a few times, but normally I let it air dry after washing. I hope the new one holds up as well.

I had one of the for five years of pretty heavy use before leaving it at a hotel. I replaced it with the manduka towel because it was cheaper and bigger, but after three years, I was tired of slipping on the manduka towel (has to be pretty wet). The yogitoes is both soft to lie on, and stops the skidding. It feels ridiculous to drop $50 on a towel, but they hold up really well and it makes practicing much more of a joy.

Bought two but returning because my hands keep slipping in downward facing dog. So annoying! Shandali is a much better yoga towel, my hands don't slip.

I have washed this towel 20-30 times, and it still smells like chemicals. I skid during a hot yoga class and still have to put water on my mat. Why is this towel so popular???
