This is great for a great massage for shoulders, neck & back! Wonderful; I totally recommend it!

My wife is a Paraplegic and in a wheelchair. We have gone through 6 of these types of massagers since October. This is by far the best one... her shoulders get sore if she has to do alot of wheeling... also she gets sore after PT... This is a good one... powerful, the buttons are sturdy... and she is tough on it... but it's fantastic... spend the money and get a quality massager, the Homedics checks all the boxes.

I LOVE this. Mom of a rowdy toddler and recovering from rotator cuff reconstruction, and these traps, I tell ya. This little machine has really helped release tension and improve my range of motion as a result. I do wish it was easier to get a downward angle for massage.Pros: heat, 3 speeds, and reverse. Soft sling-style handles.Cons: short cord - I think 6’ but I still have to use an extension cord to sit on the furniture and use it without issue. The sling handles are shorter than on other models I’ve used, wish they had a secondary/longer sling. The auto off feature is inconsistent time-wise, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 20…annoying but turns right back on so minor inconvenience. My unit has a high pitched buzz/chirp coming from one side when the unit is off but plugged in - I just unplug it each time. I probably should have exchanged it but honestly it’s too wonderful of a machine overall. I couldn’t live another day without it. 10/10 would purchase again despite my complaints!

I occasionally suffer from upper and lower neck pain, both in back and on the sides of my neck and even down a little onto the tops of my shoulders. In my opinion, this can be used for any of those locations and probably more I have never tried or needed. I searched through the reviews and specifications of many different models and decided on this one because of its versatility and the fact that it plugs directly into the wall and is not rechargeable, battery operated. I must say first that this is not in any way a pillow. Even though the unit does have a padded cover, the insides are firm and hard where the magic happens. The opposite direction rotation is a nice feature, as is the variable speeds, but the heat option in my opinion is barely noticeable, but still a nice addition. After some experimentation, I have found that for me, the best way to use it is while sitting in my high back recliner. Sitting up straight doesn't put much pressure of your neck onto the device and the further back I recline increases the pressure of my head and neck onto the device. If you have long hair, I suggest lifting it and not using this unit through your hair because it will tangle your hair into knots. This thing has some seriously strong Motors with very deep penetrating kneading motion. It is definitely a far cry from a vibrating neck pillow. Actually, if the manufacturer could add a variable speed and strength vibration to this, it would be the ultimate deep muscle kneading massager. Again, I must stress that this is not a soft tissue vibrating pillow.

I was paying $100+ for biweekly neck massages until I got this home neck massager. I almost didn't buy it after reading some of the iffy reviews, but I'm glad I did. It hits all the right places and feels great on my neck. I have used it both sitting up and lying in bed. The pressure is not too deep, and it feels great. I've been using it religiously every day and my neck feels so much better, no regrets at all and I couldn't recommend more. Btw writing this with the massager on lol.

Nice power for a deep massage but able to be easily adjusted for a lighter touch if that works for you.

This is THE BEST deep tissue massager you can get! I have tried about 5 of these massagers all from different brands and none are as good as this one. Yes this one is more expensive than all other brands but for me it's worth it! ALL of the other brands automatically switch rotation from clockwise to counter clockwise after a short period. This is the only one that doesn't. It's capable of going both directions with a push of a button. But YOU are in control of that. I LOVE this feature! It's so frustrating to finally get it situated and finding "that spot" just to have the rotation switch on you and no longer have that perfect angle or motion that you just had. Also this one just seems better shaped to really get into those deep muscles. The crook for your head to rest on is comfortable and well formed. Highly recommend

I have owned 2 other similar massagers over the years. The other two were great, though the motors gave out to extensive use with lots of pressure. This one's motor seems fine, even great and never slowed down regardless of the pressure (I use a lot).This massager has been less used than the others simply because it is much more uncomfortable when the motor is rotating the plastic massage balls. It just...doesn't feel like a massage so much as an aggressive plastic something on your neck.The zipper broke while the massager was in regular day-to-day use (not using the zipper). Interesting that once the zipper no longer works the rest of the device is basically useless as the rotators will then catch clothing or anything else and twist it up in a knot.I did get quite a bit of use out of it (6 months), but this one is overall a regret purchase. Would not buy again.
