Unlike other greasy granite sealers at stores which just wipe off quick with cleaning. This stuff soaks in and dries like a nail polish. Once dried my kids can spill kool-aid what ever and let it dry on our white granite. It never soaks in after using this stuff. Application is a pain but well worth the hassle how I do it. I pour acetone on the granite heavily and wipe it down. Then let it dry 10 minutes, then pour this stuff all over and keep applying it to keep it wet soaking the proseal in. After it dries I use a plastic scotch brite pad with water to rub the excess film off the surface of the granite. Then wipe clean with water. The fumes from this stuff are intense, make sure you can open a window. After all that, the white granite has been invincible to spills from our kids for a year now.
