Can you wet this hat and shape it ?

Just got mine and the other answer is correct. It’s nothing like a Stetson wool hat you find in the store.

I wouldn't call it a cowboy hat, the brim is to narrow. It did fit my MD's requirement after he scraped some nasty stuff off the back of my neck.

if a hat is a little big what can I use as a filler

Cut strips of self adhesive soft foam window/door weather striping inside the the hat band to take up the extra slack. When the foam wears out, add more; it’s super cheap.
