David Tate Women's Yknot

I have an extra wide foot with high arches, a bunion, and a buckled toe. It's almost impossible for me to find shoes of any kind -- much less pretty ones. I had decided I'd probably have to go barefoot to my daughter's wedding --- until these shoes arrived. They fit, have just enough heel to be elegant but are still sturdy enough that I won't twist my ankle or fall off them. They even match my dress. And I think they'll be comfortable. I highly recommend you try these sandals.

I don't review a lot of items, but I had to leave one for these shoes.I bought these for a wedding, I was the Matron of Honor. I was able to wear these all night long. I do not normally wear heels, so comfort is key for me to be able to wear shoes like these. I literally had these shoes on from the time photos started at 1pm, until the wedding was over at midnight. They were more comfortable than the flip flops that I had brought as a back-up.The only issue I had was that my pinky toe slipped through one of the straps twice on the dance floor. No big deal in my opinion.These are the only heels I've been able to wear for a whole day! The low price is a bonus too.

Very attractive and comfortable dressy sandal with arch support and light padding. Unfortunately, my color choice was not available in the wide width so I took a chance and ordered the medium width which did not accommodate my true D-width. The advantage to ordering a David Tate shoe in a wide-width is that it accommodates a wider foot with a wider 'last' (width of the shoe, across the foot-bed). Most women's shoes marked 'wide' add a little fullness across the top of the shoe, but do not adjust for width across the bottom.

I just received my pair of shoes today. I bought them in July, but I live in Venezuela and there were problems between custums and the courir (not provided by Amazon) and it took for ever to finally receive them. However, I am super happy. I have pretty small and skiny feet (size 4), and is veery hard to find shoes my size. I bought this pair of sandal for a daytime wedding on an island. They are specially cute and match everything. The fit is perfect, both lenght and width. The wedding is in a week and I am sure I will be very comfortable in them, they feel just great. They are just like in the picture, perfect packing also. I will consider buying other styles from the same brand.

I loathe the process of finding comfortable wide-width shoes and I RARELY buy them online. With my purchase of these sandals, I am a convert. I purchased two pairs of these sandals in platinum and black (I wear a 9 wide). I often must buy a 9.5 W or even a 10 W for closed-toe shoes but the David Tate Yknot sling backs are appropriately wide at the toe and have something I've never seen - a wider base to support your foot at the arch, which prevents the across-the-foot straps from rubbing your inner foot as some sandals do. I love wearing these!

This shoe is beautiful and I really wanted it. I tried it on and the width is much wider than I expected as I have measured as an E width and I ordered WW. It is too wide. The length is also too much. My size in tennis shoe is 9 so I ordered 8.5 and got a shoe too long as well by about 1/2 inch. I am so unhappy because I really like the shoe and have to send it back. Why are shoe sizes not standardizerd more?

This is a very cute shoe with a perfect height heel. I wear a 5 1/2 Wide (if I can find it) but that was sold out so I took a chance on the Extra Wide. It fit fine in the wide part but it was too long, almost like a 6 or 6 1/2. I then tried the 5 1/2 B but it was just too tight. I'd love to have it in a Wide... maybe someday.

This makes 4 pairs of these yknot shoes in my closet. The black peau were for a formal dress. They were so comfortable that I bought the platinum and now I bought the silver and metallic multicolor. Tha silver I bought because I own a pair of silver dress shoes that are too high to wear and they were the lowest heel you could buy at dsw!The metallic multicolor looked like they could be worn in a more casual way, to spice up a simple black dress or pants. On the website, I thought they might be too busy. They are much better looking in person. I love the way each stripe of strapping is a different metallic color. It would be nice if they made the shoes in the dark bronze also, it's gorgeous! Thanks Amazon for making it so easy to buy a low heel that looks great. I am not a big shopper, the fact that I bought 4 pairs of these should tell you something!
