It is great for people with acne or those who want to prevent signs of aging. I have tried a glycolic acid cleanser from other brands, but this one has been my favorite so far. It is clear in color, thick consistency, and does not have a scent. It is a mild, gentle cleanser that probably wouldn’t wash off a face full of makeup on its own (I don’t wear makeup, so I can’t say for sure). If you are trying to use it for that purpose, I would suggest double cleansing; wash with coconut oil first, then use this cleanser after to allow the glycolic acid to work properly on your clean skin. Since I use it for acne on my arms and the fine lines on my face and chest, I like to wash those areas with this in the shower and just let the product sit on my skin for a bit before rinsing. Since it is an AHA, it is not meant to be moisturizing, but it also doesn’t dry out my skin at all.
