Viable option (IMO) from someone who held on to jewel cases for a long time.
I ordered these on a Friday, delivered on a Saturday, I spent an hour or two on a Sunday afternoon moving about 100 CDs into these cases. Something I noticed as I was moving them from their original CD jewel case. Many of the cases I had were scratched on front or back of jewel case. Other types of damage cracked on the case, etc. Most all of my artwork was near perfect. I had a paper towel to dust a few things that felt dusty. As I put them into these new sleeves, viewing the album felt consistently great. Making this move was one I did with a bit of anxiousness. Years ago my wife tosses my jewel cases with artwork and it felt devastating to me for some reason. I just got done sleeving a bunch of CDs and now I'm excited to find a case to put these in. I have noticed flipping through them from the top, the tuck sleeve can come out. I wonder if I sleeved these upside down from how I did it if that would provide a better flipping through experience? This is going to save me space and it's also going to make it easier to find my CDs. I did not have my CDs displayed on a shelf before I did this project. I had them stored under my deck, stacked up probably three stacks deep. I would have to take them out to get access to everything at once. Last thing, I will assess how many double CDs I have and I have a number of paper sleeved albums that don't come apart like the jewel cases. The real last thing, I think I'm interested to try the DVDs next. I've been storing those in the closet as I made space for Blu Rays and 4K Blu Rays. I'll use the other version of these sleeves for those discs, not these CD ones to be clear. My photos are not in the "box," I plan to use long term. I put them in a box that is uneven on the bottom but I wanted to see what flipping through them was going to be like. Glad I tried these! I'm hoping the DVD sleeving experience next is a positive one.

Love these for my CD collection!
I have purchased these CD storage sleeves multiple times. I have a large CD collection and these are perfect! They easily hold the CD and cover art. It reduced the space my CD collection takes up by a good 70%. Will buy again.

Perfect way to minimize DVD space
Perfect for storing DVDs with artwork out of plastic case. I have a large movie collection but have limited space. Before moviephiles get upset, I only use these for common DVDs. I keep the original plastic and inserts on many DVDs but for run of the mill movies this is a perfect way to store those. The quality is great, the plastic is pliable and is more rigid when you put the art work in and it fits perfectly to save the spine of the art work in case you want to put back into a plastic holder later. I also put the DVD in a separate paper cello holder which I then put in this holder. Space saver ideas are needed when collection exceeds 3000.

No more creased sidepanels!
These are the ones you’re looking for. Although a bit expensive, these fit DVD cover art perfectly without creasing the side panel, which is more to say than other brands. I keep the discs in rice paper sleeves and slide them into these covers for extra safety! They look great, a small shimmer from the material, but it’s hardly noticeable. They seem to be durable so far and I haven’t had one break yet, unlike my experience with other brands. Thank you Tarifold! Great to have a premium option available!

Flexible plastic saves A LOT of space but does require user to adapt to a wider front-on dimension
Overall really enjoying the extra space these give, and appreciative of the high-quality material that opens and closes repeatedly without getting dog-eared. The dimensions are interesting. A standard jewel-case front and back cover will each have to have one of their side "ears" folded inward. So it requires some decision about which one to leave flat, and once you decide you'll want to stick to that orientation so that all titles will be similarly viewable when you flip through. Switching to this method takes some planning, because you're sacrificing edge-viewability for space. Back to the flip-through experience of the old vinyl bins. You may want to add some reference tabs to your shelves, for genre or alphabet section. Also, owing to the wider-than-a-jewel-case dimension that allows for the side tab to be flattened, that makes for a bit of wiggle room for lyric booklets and the disks themselves. But I haven't found that to be a problem. Just something to plan for. Overall, the game change in available space, and the ease of opening a sturdy little plastic tuck flap instead of wrestling with broken center teeth from hell that scratch your disks, has been well worth it. I still keep the jewel cases when they're special, and that kind of helps with the cataloguing, because every fifty or so you see a traditional back that lets you know what section you're in. But it's wonderful to toss all those broken-toothed, broken-hinged, sharp-shard generic jewel cases and be able to fit dozens of disks in the door compartment of my car without scratches or damage.

Fits the DVD sleeve paper without folding spine in half, room for a booklet with 1-2 dvds
I actually needed to order more, I underestimated how many I needed. I only did one pack. Really nice envelopes take up way less space than the old cases. If you have multiple discs(different formats of movies or the bonus features discs) you can order some paper sleeves to keep them separated inside the plastic sleeves or find some acid-free paper and cut it to size to place between your discs. I also got the double disc sleeves for my collections of multiple-set movies. Finding the right one is not easy some require folding on the spine to make the covers fit. Anyway, do your research, and read the reviews to make your own determination on what is right for you. Also, I bought some bins from Dollar Tree to organize my collections by genre and keep them from flopping around on a shelf. I brought one movie with in the new flat sleeve to make sure it is the right width. Organizing does not have to cost a ton.

Perfect if you’re tired of CD jewel cases
I’ve been debating for some time about ditching my CD jewel cases and I finally did using these sleeves. They fit both the insert and the rear liner with no problem. I even put a very this sleeve on my CD. It works even with the larger inserts that come with some CD’s. I’m very happy with these sleeves. It took a bit to figure out which ones would work, and these are great.

Great product. Saves on storage space
Was looking at various solutions before I took the plunge and purchased. Reasonably rigid solution that saves heaps on storage space. Will be ordering more to cut down on storage. I must point out however that the sleeves I received did not have the reinforced edges which was a bit of a let down. They still seem pretty durable but I guess time will tell.
