2 Pairs Thumbsticks Analog Thumb Sticks for Sony Playstation Dual Shock 4 PS4 Controller (Red)

I don't really know how to explain what I am about to try to explain. So you have the base of the thumbstick, which connects to the inside of the controller - that part is fine. Then you have the "shaft" (we'll call it that for now!) And then the thumb rest part. The thumb rest part is totally fine. Same goes for the base of the thumbsticks. However, there is a HUGE problem with how thick the shaft is. When I am trying to sprint (typically R3 on PS4) I stop and go CONSTANTLY, because the shaft is too thick and it bumps into the walls of the hole where the thumbstick sticks out of.They need to make these considerably skinnier and/or taller. I will be buying my THIRD set of thumbsticks, because it's so hard to find a decent make/model. I'm very disappointed.

The media could not be loaded.  We all know how short-lived the DS4 thumb sticks can be, so I was pretty excited when I found replacements on Amazon for such a good price. But you really do get what you pay for. These sticks are made of a much softer material and don’t last long at all. Mine started to flex and then eventually tear just a couple weeks in.

I had no idea how I was going to replace my PS4 controller joysticks, but after some research on You Tube, I found that it wasn't that tough. I didn't want to just put "covers" on my controller joysticks because they were beat up and really needed replacement. To actually replace the joysticks involves dismantling the controller to several parts. I figured I'd give it a try. With a little patience and research, it's not too hard, and worth the price for these replacement joysticks. They did come with 3 pairs (2 black, 1 green). I have 2 controllers, and replaced the joysticks on both using the black replacement parts. After about 2 months of infrequent use, the joysticks are already showing signs of wear, and may need to be replaced again soon. I may be too aggressive with the controller, which is on me, but the original Sony joysticks lasted years. I'm glad to have the extra set of green joysticks to replace my main controller, but I just hope these would last a little longer...

surprisingly, I got 3 pairs of thumbsticks instead of 2.despite that, these thumbsticks fit very strangely on my ps4 controller. either they're just to short ,or the rubber on the thumb sticks is too..rubbery? but they rub on the sides of the circle in which they sit in, if that makes sense. if I push the thumbstick in either direction as far as it can, I feel like the rubber is too thick and rubs on the sides.basically, the thumbsticks don't move smoothly.

These are good for PS4 controllers, but the sticks are too short to work for Xbox controllers. The reason why is that when you Press the stick to the edge of its range, the top will hit the controller before the stick hits the side. Otherwise, they seemed pretty similar to PS4 sticks.

So replacing them was extremely easy. However the are slightly to big and thus they get stuck in either up or down or left or right heck all directions. I needed to sand them down around the base both on top and bottom. Didn't like that. But they work now.

Complete junk. Picture is of how it looked after installation. Second pic is after playing a whole 2 hours of Fight Night Champion on my PS3 using my PS4 controller. I'll be purchasing metal ones from now on. Sick of always having to replace or buy controllers for PS4

They are really good comfortable. They are durable. A good replacement for antolog sticks mine were starting to have the bubble on them. Only thing I'm not satisfied with is a missed judge the color a little but that's on me not company.
