We bought this vacuum jug to replace one of another make - the seal of which had perished. Initially I thought this one felt a little flimsy - but actually it is very good. The information on the box is written in very poor english. (For example - "Tailless vacuum pot bottom - The edges of the kettle bottom do fillet processing, more beautiful advanced tailless vacuum technology and advanced welding technology art, enhance the thermal insulation performance." No idea what that's about? Spellings copied from the box!) When the jug is full, I find it quite hard to press the lever to pour the water and usually end up taking off the lid.We would have like to have bought an product made in the UK - but like most things, this was probably made in China

Bought this product as I always have family tea time get together. I am pleased I got this as it kept the tea warm for a long period. It's easy to clean.

I just opened the package, started rinsing the carafe like instructed and the handle fell off!The carafe has a cheap-looking plastic handle and spout which is attached to the carafe through the base of the handle. I picked it up by the handle and the spout slipped off the metal body. If there had been hot liquid in it at the time, there could have been burns and floor damage.There is no non-slip base. It is just the same metal that coats the rest of the body. I've added photos to account for this experience.The flimsy plastic spout and cap makes me question how effective it would be at containing heat. It's being returned right away.It's hard to believe the reviews match this product's quality.

Love the pink colour thermal jug. It not only keeps my tea warm for 24hours, it looks so pretty in my kitchen. It's very easy to clean and the lid is easy to twist it on or off. Recommend to buy.

This product is functional fine but this price made in China is too expensive. The made-in-China product I buy is not durable, which is a relatively higher cost compared to buying high-quality brands.
