Mr. Heater Golf Cart 4,000 BTU Radiant Propane Heater

Works great! I used it in the Ranger for heat and keeping the windshield clear (with a dual adjustable fan). Puts out a LOT of heat making it very comfortable inside for a lot less money than aftermarket heaters in both cost and time. As far as safety, I felt there was plenty of fresh air getting into the Ranger because it is not that tight with the soft doors and other areas for leakage, but I did have the tip out windshield if needed. Pointed back as shown it does not overheat the dash and the heat rose well before the seat back so it does not damage the seat. I recommend this heater! Also works great in a pop-up ground blind with the flat 1 pound LP tanks with the flat base!

I bought the Mr. Heater golf cart heater for our golf cart. When we have the winter curtains on, it heats it up so well that we have to turn it off not long after it's on. It heats up quickly in there. Even when the curtains are off, we still feel the heat when driving around and it takes the chill out of the air. Perfect for our golf cart and fits in the cup holder without fear of it falling off.

This heater is great and definitely heats the golf cart. We have vinyl covers and a windshield on our golf cart so with this on and the covers pulled down it is absolutely toasty in the cart. This heater puts out a great amount of heat. While it is in the cup holder doing its thing it is perfect. I like the peace of mind that if it does tip it will shut off because my only complaint is that it is super top heavy and tips over all the time when we try to use it on the deck or while tail-gating at football games. It has never shut off on us while using it in the cart cup holder, though. It is sturdy and made of quality materials and I can tell it will likely last a long time. If I were reviewing this strictly on it's merits as a golf cart heater that would be used only in a golf cart cup holder I would give it 5 stars. For it to have 5 stars I would have liked to have seen some kind of attachment to make it more user-friendly in other situations such as on the deck on a coffee table or while tail-gating. Maybe even a heads up about this in the product description with a suggestion of a part that could be purchased separately for this purpose would have at least put it out there so we could choose whether or not to spend a little extra to make it applicable to other situations where we might want a portable heater. I also would love to see an adjustment dial or switch because it does put out a lot of heat and turning it down instead of just switching it off would be great. In all we are very happy with the purchase and this item has been used many times after only a few weeks. We will come up with our own 'part' so this can be more easily used in situations other than the golf cart. If you are looking for a golf-cart heating solution this is perfect! This heater replaced the hubs flame thrower heater. He plays everyday. This in combination with cover safely keeps him toasty warm. Great replacement for the discontinued Coleman Golfcat.

Will fit in any cup holder and it’s just a click of a button for heat easy to use and works good in my krx1000 for a heater in the winter and don’t turn off when in rough terrain like others do

The included base has metal prongs that seem like they should hold the base tight in the cup-holder, but the whole heater is top heavy and any little bit of jarring will pop it out. I purchased this unit thinking it would be a great way to get some cheap heat in my enclosed cab Polaris Ranger. It does not fit in the cup holders on the dash and will pop out of the center, lower cup holders. I also tried to install it in a kolpin center console and that was worse. Definitely not the right heat application for the job without making a custom mount. I installed the propane cylinder and it took several clicks for it to ignite. Not a big deal since it was a new heater and new tank. I didn't notice much initial smell like burning lint or packing oil. Once fired up it operates fine and would kick out plenty of heat for my application. I like the fact that it has a wind screen on it and I could see where that would be a benefit for outdoor use. I have a few ideas on how to secure this in my ranger for snow plowing and fall/spring trail riding applications, but as is I can't recommend it. I subtracted 1 star for the flimsy base that would affect any cup-holder type application (not just golf carts) and 1 star because the item isn't returnable. I would probably subtract an additional star for my general disappointment in this product and transaction, but that wouldn't be fair.

I use the for my polaris ranger. It heats up fast and works very well. I am glad I purchased this heater. for the value its a great buy and easy to use.

Great heater but I should have measured the height to windshield as it does not fit my side by side. So it is mounted on the floor.

Push button start. Extremely easy to use. Gives off sufficient heat. Great product. You may have to improvise the cup holder on the golf cart to have the heater held in tight. It is a little bit loose if not.

Had to take the heater out of our SXS and this works perfect till we can get the new one installed. Bigger then what we thought it would be but all in all very satisfied with the way it works and doesn’t go out on bumpy trails

This heater is more than capable of heating the enclosed area of my atv, it's intended use for cold day atv use. Have to be careful to not get too close to the hot element. Also, keep the heater away from any type of plastic because it can melt or distort its shape.

Heater works great. The only problem was to fix it in place in the cup holder. The metal piece bracket designed to fit in the cup holder to secure it kept sliding of so I used electrical tape and wrapped around the metal support bracket so it would stick to the plastic cup holder. Now it's perfect.
